Make Money Online Posting Links on Google
84Beware of the Posting Links Scam
The other day my buddy sent me a link to a web site offering a method of making good money by posting links to Google. It said you could make hundreds of dollars a day, even ten thousand dollars per month.
For a great many people, that kind of money would go a long way to solve their problems. So the money making web site tells the story of a lady who was an account representative at a pipe manufacturing plant. However, she had lost her job and her husband was already unemployed. So they ended up losing their home and had to go live in a small apartment at $1200 month. Their credits cards were maxed out, and they were unable to even make the minimum monthly payments anymore.
Things were desperate…until she found out how to “post links to Google” to make money! Lots of money! Financially, her family’s situation went from desperate, to very comfortable. Now they have a nice big house, vacations, and luxury automobiles.
Generously, these people offer to show you how to do the same thing and start collecting serious money. All you have to do is SEND THEM A FEW DOLLARS for the information to get something they call the Google Biz kit. Note that when you follow the link, it Does Not go to Google (scam alert).
I told my friend this was a scam. You cannot “post links to Google”. Just doesn’t work!! Links are important for a web site to gain a good Search Engine ranking, but it’s not something you do yourself, other people have to put the links to your web site as a vote that you have a great site.
The “Making Money by Posting Links” web site talk about Google’s Adsense as the source of revenue. The fact of the matter is this, to make money from Google Adsense you need to show the advertising on your own web site, one which imparts value to its visitors. On the “Posting Links to Make Money” web site they never mention that you need to create such a web site.
So if you do create a web site has compelling, original content, then other web site owners may put a link on their site to point to yours, for the benefit of their visitors. In essence, it’s like a popularity vote. The more web sites out there that post a link to your web site, the more traffic you will get. If you pay someone to add links to your site, or join a link-farm, your web site might get banned from the search engines for not letting the links happen in an organic, natural way.
Eventually, if your web site gets a high level of real, genuine traffic, then you can make money from the advertising you display, or other monetizing methods, such as retail sales.
There are several of these scam web sites out there, each with a similar story. I have seen another one where it’s the fellow who lost his job at the pipe manufacturing plant.
Do yourselves a favor and steer clear of this trap. These "Make Money Posting Links" web sites are just abusing Google’s name, and your pocket book.
Cheers!
Michel

Great hub! I always knew that was a scam. Google will never charge you to make money with them. (Google Adsense)
Thanks for the information
I read in the gazette paper of a differnt lady and circumstances, who also posted a picture of her cheque from google. If it was a scam why would she go in her local paper?
Thanks for the learning info. I would like to add please the imformation before adding you link, You will learn a lot from the great info that are on these sites.
Thanks Jerome
Hello Jerome, I have checked out your link regarding AWS, and I understand that it is a paid subscription service that will automatically submit your advertisements and videos to a variety of web sites like craigslist and so forth. But what is not explained is how it meets its claim of getting you to the top position on Google's organic search results. I myself have been on Google's first page of search results a number of times, but that was on keyword phrases that nobody was looking for, thus no competition. Can you elaborate? Thanks.
good advice, beware people
i already knows that, thanks for writing regarding this topic.
