No matter how good or informative you hub, it will not generate any income without traffics or people visiting the hub. After you are done with your keyword research, you have to incorporate the keyword in you hub. Remember to include cousin keywords. Cousin keywords are keywords related to the main keyword that you have selected earlier. Targeting multiple keywords on the hub is going to give you additional traffics.

2.1) Hub Title
Your main keyword must be place in the title. By default the words you put in the title will become your hub URL. If the URL has been taken, make minimum alteration to the title but your main keyword should stay in the title. Let say your keyword phrase is “Make Money With HubPages”. Unfortunately it was taken by some one else earlier, so the next option is that you can to add words in front or behind the keywords phrase. For example, “No Money? Make Money With HubPages”, which include the main keyword phrase.

2.2) Choose Relevant Category
Now, you have to choose the most relevant category for your topic. HubPage provide a drop down menu for you to choose the category that is best to describe your hub. 2.5) Build Link To Other Sites
Try to associate your hub with other similar hub which has the same or similar topic. Provide a link to the site so that your visitor can visit them. Other than HubPages, remember not to point two links to the same URL. Your hub will be flagged and your HubScore will be diminished. Take note that your HubScore should be 75 and above so that your link will be a “follow” link. Links for HubScore of 75 and below are “no followed”. The “no followed” link will be ignored by Google. To ensure your score is 75 and above, your hub should contain quality content and at least 800 words in length. Try to include video and photos as well. Provide relevant links to related sites is also an important aspect of a quality hub.

2.6) Insert Tags
Use your keyword and cousin keywords to create tags. You should put all the keywords from the keyword research process as tags. This will enable people to find your hub through the tags. HubPages also provides “Suggested tags” that are based on the content of your hub. Choose only the relevant tags suggested by HubPages as not all tags suggested are relevant to your write-up.
