It's true, there's no real shortcuts to internet millions like Jeff Paul's infomercial claims. There are ways however you can begin earning income online and eventually translate that into great passive income sources. At the CashCrate site you can participate in up to 2 daily surveys, sometimes more if CashCrate is running a special promotion. Surveys are on a range of interesting topics, and your acceptance is determined by answering various quick questions such as "do you smoke cigarettes regularly?" or "do you have a dog?"   I've taken all sorts of interesting surveys on everything from new snack products to beverages to cell phones and new video games.  If you find you don't get approved for any surveys, my advice is to try again throughout the day as time permits and you'll find at some point there's a survey you can complete.  Do 2 per day when you're new to Cash Crate as this can help you earn a steady check. In a month if you're diligent you can complete as many as 60 or more surveys, which could earn you $50 or more. 

CashCrate offers a variety of trial offers and other sign-up based offers that you can choose to participate in and be paid for.  In the past they've had things like a $10 payout if you signed up for a Netflix trial membership (which you can of course cancel before ever being charged a cent).  The key here is to do your best to stay away from those offers which require your credit card or making any sort of payment. They will be clearly marked as such on CashCrate's website, so it won't be hard to tell which are which. Some of the offers you pay for are a trial offer for things like Netflix or printable postage. These offers you can cancel so that you won't be charged, but again be careful and mindful of them so you don't incur charges! Generally these "paid-to-offers" can earn you anywhere from 25 cents to $20 or more. These are one quick way to accumulate the necessary earnings for a check cash out!  Also, you may find offers on their site you had considered trying out before and getting cash back to try them gives you extra incentive now!

CashCrate has a decent-sized list of various merchants that they allow you to shop at and earn a percentage back. These are affiliate/sponsor sites that CashCrate promotes such as Wal Mart, Enterprise Rent-a-car, and the Apple Store. Percentages maybe as small as 1% back, but if you're buying a new laptop or computer at Apple that can still be a sizeable amount of earnings deposited to your CashCrate account.  Or if you're going on any sort of trip, personal or business 1% back on a car rental could be some nice extra money in your pocket.  These offers aren't required but it's a smart idea to keep them in mind for your next online shopping at any of the listed retailers.  You'll see the money deposited rather quickly in your account too, so it's another great way to earn the necessary cash out you need to get a check in the mail!

The coolest part of CashCrate just might be its fantastic referral system. For every person you refer to the program who signs up through your link, you'll earn 10-25% of their earnings.  It generally works on a two-tier system, where you'll earn a higher percentage for first tier sign-ups, and then a bit lower percentage on second-tier signups (people who signed up through your original referrals).  When a referral gets to their first $10 in earnings, you'll be rewarded with a $3.00 bonus.  There's another option to receive $1 each time a signup does their first signup offer, but personally the $3.00 has worked best. I've been consistently earning checks from Kingside Media (Cash Crate) for well over 2 years now. It's always nice to see those extra checks arrive in the mail. Here's my tips on how to earn the most with the program.

- Early on look for sign up offers that are free with no obligation and that don't require your address or phone #. This can be tricky, but you don't want tons of junk mail in your mailbox or people calling your home for various offers. Do your best to avoid those sorts of offers.

- Try your best to do 20-25 surveys. At 80 cents a piece that will earn you $16 to $20. $20 is the current minimum payout amount to receive a check. Add in some of the signup or trial offers if you need to. Eventually you'll find yourself needing to do less of these.

- Bookmark the shopping page in your net browser. This way if you're going to go shopping, you might remember one of the sites from the list and you can follow your link to get a percentage back from your sale.

- Play by CashCrate's rules. The site will cancel your account if you use spam or sites like Myspace/Facebook to try to get referrals. Get referrals using your blog or website to advertise, and email close friends and family that may be interested in making some extra money online.
