The Secret and the Law of Attraction have been around since the beginning of time.

When you step up from the heart, from passion, from a place of authenticity, from wisdom, and a place of serving others, you will stand out from the crowd and attract more people to whatever it is you are working on or promoting than you will EVER know what to do with.
The KEY to being successful not only on any of the the online, and web 2.0 platforms, but in my humble opinion, in any advertising and marketing that you do...really in LIFE...
Is to BE REAL, BE AUTHENTIC, TELL A STORY, share YOUR personal STORY...and just be you...who you are today, what you have learned, and where you are going...
You will attract all the people just like you who relate to you and your story
Be interesting, be unique, be yourself...and people will let their guards down, and take a breath of fresh air that they have found someone REAL.
I learned from some great teachers over time...and this is key.
Yes it's great to use all the emotional and psychological ways to move people into action, NLP techniques, great copy-writing...blah, blah, blah...Old tricks that manipulate aren't going to work any more...because if your intent is that...guess what you will attract?
But at the end of the day, especially in this day and age of endless hype and pitches...
People just want authenticity and truth...and of course value. Something that's going to improve their lives.
I have learned through the years, that just like the law of attraction works, so does the law of attraction marketing...
When you approach your life, your business, marketing and sales from this kind of authentic platform...for God's sake it just works and works and works...
in my humble opinion not just because of how being authentic stands out from the crowd...but because the Universe somehow knows that your intention is to be of service, and to add value to people's lives period...no hype, no BS, no hoo haa!
in reality...
because of the energy and integrity that is behind that type of action...You will not only bring into your life, a plethora of wonderful people just like you, who want to do business with you, work with you, partner with you...but they will also throw money at you...
It's just flat out the way the Universe and Life work. I see it in my life, and I see it in every successful person I work with...
They are givers, contributors, and understand the law...And it beats cold calling, convincing, selling, explaining, trying to close a deal...ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
You can be in the top 1-2% income earners on the planet if you understand and practice this philosophy.
It never fails...I have people calling me and joining my businesses every single day...and I don't have to sell a thing...
The bottom line is people want to be surrounded by real leaders, authentic people, who come from a place of service and adding value.
And they also want to live their own dreams, their full potential, and be in integrity to their passions and what they love doing...
You will be a magnet to others...just watch and see...
This is how you create a huge income on line with no stress, and no hype...just good old fashioned add some value in the world...and people will seek you out over all the cheesy, hypey sales people... .
It's now their time...and it's your time...
People want to be free, and live their dreams on their own terms...and they darn well deserve it...

True true all true. I have recently begun promoting in this way, and while I was experiencing results with the old-school methods, it just makes sense to limit the hype and promote in the way in which you speak of here. The Internet is becoming more and more social and we're able to interact with each other on a deeper more effective level. I'm glad I found you Scott, you're a great resource :)

The Secret....is and can be a touchy subject....I like the guy that talks about how you visualize and there is a waiting period...it can be frustrating. ONly be believieng i guess is the moral!
Absolutely wonderful. People are way to smart and intelligent to play them for a fool. You have got to be honest and state only the things that are real and working in your life. No one wants to put their futures and hopes and dreams in the hands of a deceiver.

So the Secret is there is no secret, just things we don't know or understand and therefore many don't do.
Great post, since the film, book etc came out this concept has really died down and it's too bad. It is almost as though many people prefer to cling to the "hard way" rather than making changes towards something so simple as positive thinking. Oh how some love their misery:) Anyway great post, I enjoyed it.
You know, I don't doubt that keeping a positive attitude will help you to be a better person. In turn, I'm sure you'll meet better people. Since it isn't always what you know, but who you know - being around better people can bring better opportunities. But - that is it! I'm tired of people trying to attribute nonsensical ideologies to non-trivial events. Think of it as going to a job interview. If you go in dressed like bum, looking all depressed and lacking any confidence - you're likely not going to get the job. But, if you go into that interview with a smile, dressed nicely, confident and prepared - you'll improve your chances. If you get that job was it because of the "secret" or was it because you made the decision to give the best first impression? It all boils down to cause and effect. Every event in your life is as a result of the consequence of action or inaction - whether directly or indirectly.
Yes that is true, focus and hardwork always together. Always think positive and everything will go on the right way. Your article is very inspiring.

The laws of attraction are always in effect...that is the difference between turning a sales pitch on an off. I was a salesman for years, but I could never make any sales when I used the sales pitch provided by my company. I began to notice that the only times I was able to make any sales was at the end of the day, when I was tired of the sales pitch myself and spoke from the heart....Great post...much success in your future endeavors.

I would say the Law of Attraction and the Manifestation Process are primarily about your EMOTIONS...understanding them, and deliberately guiding them.What emotions are you feeling when you think about your desires? Does thinking about your desires put you in a good mood, have you feeling excited anticipation? Hopeful, joyous, passionate, grateful and appreciative for all the good that you presently have in your life?Experiencing these emotions often and intensely is the key to actually speeding up the manifestation process and bringing your desires to you quicker.

Great post, a lot of what you say is in line with what I've written about in a new e-book I've just launched about being successful online using the law of attraction.
I believe that you can use the law of attraction in any aspect of your life. My wife lost 48lbs after we started learning about LOA. I've been crazy busy with new online projects myself since discovering it, and this new book is just one them.
I think one of the fundamental things about the Law of attraction is your belief system. You have to believe if your heart and soul that you will attract what you want If you have a goal to attract a car, job, weight loss or online sales, but you have counteracting limiting belief in your subconcious mind, you are going to find it hard to attract something into your life if you don't change your beliefs. E.g. You may want to attract 1,000,000 dollars in sales, but in back of your mind your thinking 'yeah, right, there's no way I could ever make 1million'.. you are never going to attract it, because you don't believe it will be possible because you don't know how you will attract it. You need to clear that limiting belief and re-enforce new beliefs that benefit you.
How you attract that 1million isn't important , focusing on the end objective consistently through regular visulaisation, affirmations etc will allow you to attract ideas and events which will open you up to opportunities that could lead you to make 1million dollars. As you start to get these ideas, your belief that you will get 1million will grow stronger, and so will the attraction. You will start to draw more ways, paths, or the ideas you had will develop further.
You must take Action on these ideas. Again you still don't quite know how it will pan out, but if you concentrate on the end goal, you will get there. You burn your bridges, you keep going forward, taking inspired action. For example, you may get inspired with a simple idea that if you start a website selling a niche product you are interested in, and If you sold X number of products over a year, you may earn 1milllion. Then you should act on it. Start the ball rolling, find out what is involved creating the website.
You may find out that the website will be the source of the 1million you are attracting, or not. It could be something you learn or discover along the path to creating the website that will inspire better ideas, or present you with other opportunities that may lead you to your goal.
