Many people who love their dogs are finding out that writing about them can bring in some bucks. Big bucks, too. Plus sharing info about dogs all over helps others learn more about caring for these awesome animals, bringing the canine kingdom and mankind closer together. That always rocks!

Ways to share your dog moments with others and try to make money from your writing follow. No guarantees, now, on earning big bucks! This is simply educational info for you.

1) Hubpages

Start right here and set up shop with a free Hubpages account. Write articles about dogs and earn revenue from clicks and various affiliate and other programs here. For example, you can earn income when people buy books from your Amazon affiliate link or when people click sponsored Google Adsense ads on topics like: dog breeds and which would be best for your family, dog health, dog training, grooming your dog, dog grooming tools, etc.

Hint: Just make sure to sign up for the various programs hooked up with Hubpages and fill in your affiliate code when you log into your member area.

2) Squidoo Lenses

These work in a similar way. Write your content, then register for a free Squidoo account, then set up what is called a "lens" with your info. You'll insert your article into a text box. Then upload a neat dog-related digital image you may have on hand or from a free stock photo site on the web. Go to Squidoo's Add Modules area (top right menu), and add videos, photo files, RSS feeds, neat interactive modules and more. Insert your affiliate code there, too, and earn from Amazon sales, pay per click (PPC) with Google Adsense and more.

3) Pitch Media

Take some writing courses to learn new skills and brush up on old ones. You'll find some locally and on the web from free to cheap like at Virtual University (learned how to make my first website there!) Then head to the library for writer's books: how to write a query tip, article writing tips, writer's guidelines and guides and more. Ask the reference librarian for help. Then craft and mail letters to editors of print magazines, newsletters, newspapers, etc. to see if they would be interested in your content. Check their editorial calendars, too (online many times) and pitch timely dog-themed articles, like, "Christmas Stocking Ideas for Your Dog," "The Best Dog Blankets and Throws for Winter Time," or "Potty Training Your Dog During the Winter."

Hint: Plan ahead and pitch while there's still a couple of months for editor to review and plan the use of your content.

OK, that's all for now! There are many more ways to earn from writing! So back soon with more.

I plan on creating a blog with a domain about my pup. She has cancer, and my father and I are going to set it up. I'll tell him what all I want, and he'll design it for me. I can't wait. It will be a way to potentially help others who have dogs with bone cancer.
