I began surfing the internet for a way to make money with my computer because the computer I purchased to do the accounting for my business (which failed after the mortgage industry failed) was just sitting there in my home office collecting dust. So I started thinking maybe I could use it to make some money in between looking for work or an hourly paid job, I would spend the first part of my day looking for work and applying for jobs (anything would be better than nothing) and the evenings I spent online researching way to make money with my computer. From November to January I had two jobs that each took about a week to complete then in January all work and job options totally disappeared. With no leads on work and not being able to find a job I decided it was time to start searching the internet for a way to make money with my computer.

After doing a few searches I was surprised at what I found, there was a ton of get rich quick schemes (don't know if that is what I really should call them) that said you could make thousands of dollars overnight. I began looking closer at all these sites and things that promised riches overnight to see if they were too good to be true and you want to know what I found out? I found out that I really can make money with my computer but, not overnight, all the promise of being able to make thousands of dollars overnight was only half true, I found that it could take years to build an internet business. Internet businesses are no different from a brick and mortar business they both take time to build and, If you don't have any background in whatever business you are trying to start you need to get educated in that business if you want to succeed.

So, My advice to anyone who is thinking "Can I make money with my computer" and are thinking they can do it overnight should keep their money and learn everything they can about internet marketing before buying into any get rich overnight offers.
