What is Article Marketing?

Article Marketing is a style of advertising, just like Hubpages, you write short articles about your business, your interests, whatever you feel like.

Included in your articles are a short profile, which can include reference links to your website or websites.

These articles are basically marketing your services and/or products and driving new and prospective customers to your website or blog.

Articles usually consist of a minimum of 300 words and relevant tags.

However, the Secret to Article Marketing is to make each article you submit Unique, Search Engines like google punish your articles by flagging them as duplicate content, which will hurt your efforts in successfully marketing your articles.

When you publish your articles, always include a link to your website in your bio.

This link can be a product page (landing page), a blog page, anything that will draw visitors to click on your affiliate links, most articles submitted are reviewed.

Direct Linking to Affiliate Products are not allowed, thats the general rule of thumb.

This is how you make money with article marketing.

You do need to be careful, take a look at the sites you want to submit to. most of them put their adsense banners into your article, basically taking money away from you.
