How To Make Solar Power and Wind Turbine

According to NASA, the hottest year on record was 2005, which

matched 1998. Twice in the last ten years, we've had the hottest

temperatures on average ever recorded in our planet's history.

hat is very likely more than just a coincidence. In fact, the past

nine years have all been among the 25 warmest years on record,

a streak which is unprecedented in the historical record. For that

to happen, it's likely there has to be an underlying factor, and

that factor seems to be global warming.

U.S. and global annual temperatures are now around 1.0 F

degrees warmer than they were in 1900. The rate of warming

has accelerated over the past 30 years, increasing at a rate of

three times faster than the century-scale trend. It's likely the

increase in CO2 emissions has something to do with that rate

increase.

The benefits of solar energy:

· It is environmentally friendly. Solar energy is clean and renewable. It does not pollute (traditional forms of electrical generation do).

· Solar energy systems require very little maintenance. You do not have to worry about recurring costs or adding extra fuel, etc.

· When you use solar energy in your home, you will save money in the long run. After all, energy from the sun is free once you have purchased your solar panels or solar lights, etc. There are even some financial incentives from the government that can reduce your cost. And if you do not use as much energy as your solar system uses, you can sell that extra energy to your utility company. When you use solar energy, you are no longer affected by the supply and demand of regular fuel.

Benefits Of Wind Turbines

Wind turbines are very useful because they work wherever there are decent levels of wind. This means that remote weather stations, water pumps, or even farms can be powered by a wind turbine or a series of turbines. Hybrid systems have been developed as well, that use wind turbines in conjunction with diesel generators, solar cells, and batteries.

Combining The Two

This is a win-win as usually you can get a breeze during a cold , rainy or stormy day while on the clear sunny days still generate free and renewable energy
