In recent years i've got completely addicted to surfing the net and now my browser have become the most important software in my pc. Wether you use the newest version of IE or the newbie Chrome. Each browsers in the cyber market have their own drawbacks.IE have leaped into newer versions but still remains slow.Mozilla Firefox is fast but it may get jammed with those numerous juicy add-ons. Though Chrome and Opera are comparitively the faster they still lack customization.

I'll tell some useful tweaks for your browser wether its IE 8 , Mozilla Firefox 3 ,Opera 9 or Google Chrome. These tricks are  gonna make you brosers faster, flexible and more secure.I think you should be doing this the first time start up you browser after installation.

I'm telling this step by step guide for Windows Vista users if you are from some other platform i'll provide the in next capsule to help you out with your browser tweaking.So lets jump in...

Use OpenDNS

OpennDNS is a replacement DNS server for you computer.Usually, you OpenDNS would be faster and more stable than the one provided by your ISP.This tweak will help you out for faster web browsing.

Go to Start-> ControPanel->Network Status and Tasks

Click on the View Status button next to your Local Area Network and click Properties.Select Internet Protocol Version 4 and click Properties.Click on  Use the following DNS server address and type in the following:

Alternate DNS Server: 208.67.220.220

Preferred DNS Server: 208.67.222.222

Click OK and close the connection properties window.Now click here to know if you are using OpenDNS.If you hit a welcome page then you are using Open DNS and needs no futher configuration.

This is one of the most efficient freeware available for performing temporary file deletion, Cookie deletion and clearing other useless datas. It also comes with a registry cleaner.

The CCleaner can be downloaded from here for free.While installing it may ask you to install Yahoo Toolbar. You may uncheck the option if dont need it.

The main window of CCleaner displays many options .Since we are going to clear all temporary files we dont need any other options.Click the Analyze button.

Click on Run Cleaner to delete the files.It will notify about the permanenet deletion of files click OK to procede with the deletion of files from your computer. This will even include potentially dangerous files in your computer.

Internet Explorer 8 is the latest version of brower from Microsoft.Still it suffers from speed issues. Microsoft has improved IE but it is still behind Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrom and Opera.This is how you can make it faster. 

You can increase the connection limit by inserting a registry file into your computer's registry.

I've found a link for it  from here.Save it .You can add it to the registry by just Double Clicking it.

A confirmation message will show that the insertion was sucessful else try again till it inserts.
