Materials

Bridal Illusion Tulle
Matching thread color of the tulle
Fabric Glue
Scissors
1/2 Yard of Bridal loops
Nail Polish Remover
Small Rhinestones
Q-Tips
Sewing machine (sergers make great pencil edges)

The instructions I will give is for a basic I Tier Pencil Edge Veil
Purchase 3 yards of Bridal Illusion Tulle. You will only need 1 yard for the veil. The rest is if you make a really bad mistake and need to start over.

Lay the tulle on a clean surface. Do not unfold it. Cut 36 inches of the tulle straight across.
Now with the tulle laying in front of you, the fold should be to your left. On the right lower section of the tulle,, cut the corner to round off the edge.

Now comes the fun part, sewing the trim to the edge, if you have a serger, use the rolled hem setting and start at the top of the tulle , sew all the way around. You can use a gathering stitch for the top of the veil, or you can do this by hand.
Once gathered, sew a straight line over the gather. Now sew the Bridal loops over this stitch. Trim the edges, and add the comb.
If you want to ad rhinestones, only use Fabric Glue, nothing else, trust me.
Add a tiny dab to the back of the stone and place on the tulle. The nail polish remover is for any glue that may show. Take a q-tip to remove this.

You can add any color of trim to the veil such as 1/4 Rattail sewn to the edge with a sewing machine set on zigzag and a slightly tight stitch. The rattail comes in at least 20 different colors. If you want to use Satin ribbon, double sided Bridal satin is the best. This also comes in many colors.
.
I hope all this helps you to make the veil of you dreams. I have sold 100 s and have taught my daughter how to make veils.
May God Bless You on Your Special DAY.
