Make an Apple Head Doll Part 2

Making the Bodies
The doll heads are dry enough and I'm ready to go on to the next step.
I got some wire a bit thinner than a coat hanger, and I took a long piece and bent it into a u-turn shape. Then I slowly pushed both sharp ends through the top of the apple by the stem working them down through the apple. The wire has to be long enough to bend into the neck, shoulders, arms, torso, hips and legs. (See photos).
I added straight pins for eyes. I only had long pins that were coming out the other side, so I had to go buy some short pins with the right eye colors. (Blue, green, brown).
Now would be the time to add rice or beads for the teeth, but I don't think I will.
I got some lo-loft batting to use for the bodies to pad the wire. And that is as far as I got so far, so more later as the apple head doll adventure continues.

I am a volunteer teacher at our high school which is located in the poorest of poor areas of eastern KY and I am trying to find things our people can make and sell to make some extra money. I look forward to the other segments of your tutorial.
