Make new friends today
61Making new friends had never been easier
Making new friends is not as hard as it sounds. Wherever you are: middle school, high school, college, you will need to make friends to turn your studying time into fun time. Friends will also help you with something that you don't understand or don't know how to do. So, here is quick five steps on how to make friends:
1) Make new friends with everybody. Not just people same as your race, religion, or nationality.
2) A good time to make new friends would be at lunch or break. Sit at a table you like and start talking to the people. Find you what they like and see if you have any similarities with them. That way you will have fun talking about a topic that you like and make new friends.
3) Make as many friends as you can each day. You will see how this helps you later on. You will never again be alone or never talked to.
Making friends can sometimes be hard for shy people. But if you get over that fear of coming up to someone and start talking, you will be amazed at the results.

Forgive me for saying this, but these are great ways to make friends- in kindergarten. I feel sad to admit this but middle and high school students would like better advice b/c the truth is that today's American youth is very shut off from other people. You can't just walk up to a person and say "hi" anymore and then just start talking like it's nothing to worry about. In fact, you're lucky if the person doesn't scar you for life mentally with insults or physically with a good punch to the face. I don't get it either, but it's how our generation is working today. Our parents raise us to not judge each other from the outside, but that's part of how you make friends. Now kids get in fights over race, connections, and even the type of clothes we wear. The thing is our generation is in an undeclared war. Making friends is like choosing your allies.
