Being an internet marketer can be a great way to bring in some extra cash at the end of the month into one's pocket, and that is certainly the case for many people out there. However, getting started in internet marketing can be quite confusing and discouraging at times. One common question I get asked is what it really means to be an internet affiliate marketer in the online business world. So what exactly is affiliate marketing?  The term "affiliate marketer", or "affiliate marketing" simply refers to one person who is affiliated with another person or company, and is somehow helping that person or company make sales on their products.
