For those of you who haven’t heard, Xomba is a combination social bookmarking and article writing site that allows you to post links to your own articles on other sites (like HubPages) or write original articles and post them to the internet.  It is possible to make money from your links or your content at Xomba provided you have an AdSense account.  Unfortunately, there is no other way to earn money using Xomba, but the opportunity to earn anything while creating links is great, in my opinion.

I must admit that I was somewhat skeptical at first regarding the linking or the money earning prospects.  I hadn’t had much success over at another site getting any ad views.  But I would like to report that my initial skepticism was unwarranted.  Not only is it possible to get traffic to your articles from Xomba, it is possible to earn some decent money as well despite only receiving 50% of the AdSense views next to your content.

I have been a member of Xomba for 6 weeks and 4 days now, and the results have been pretty impressive.  I don’t have a lot of time to devote to writing or traffic building so I want to know that the time I spend is well worth it.  Xomba is worth every minute and worth finding extra time as well.  I have only had time to post links to 20 of my 98 total Hubs, but I have received 23 views to those Hubs according to the HubPages stats and 22 visits according to Google Analytics (that doesn’t include today’s totals).

The best part, however, is the earning potential.  I have posted 16 original articles and 100 links total some to my articles and several to others that I find on the internet that are interesting.  In doing so, I have earned $4.21 in September and $6.59 so far this month in the first 13 days.  The $6.59 represents about 30% of my AdSense revenue for this month.  So, it is a huge income booster for me.  I anticipate that I should at least get to $12 for the month and will increase that figure in November and December of this year.  This simply means that my AdSense payout will come that much quicker than if I had written on HubPages alone.  I might even be able to get to the Google AdSense payout by the end of this month, although it will be close.

I have been so impressed with Xomba and the earning potential that I applied for and was accepted as a featured writer in the topic of Money & Investing.  I figure that this will only enhance my exposure on the site and help drive traffic to my other articles as well.  Furthermore, it should enhance my AdSense revenue dramatically as well over the longer term.  I have written two feature articles for Xomba so far and have included them in the links below.  If you are interested in joining Xomba, please join through this referral link, and I will get an extra 10% of the ad impressions.
