Google AdSense is one of the easiest ways to make money online. All you need is a blog, website, or a hubpage with good quality content and traffic to get started.
Many people with high traffic websites are making up to 3000-4000 a month just with Google AdSense. Not bad, but when you first start and are still learning how to drive traffic you might only make a buck or two in your first month. Then as you learn to drive more traffic you’ll make more.
So don’t get discouraged, although chances are you will, but just don’t give up. The idea is to build a content rich site, which you need to update on a regular basis and eventually Google won’t be able to ignore it any longer and will start sending you traffic.

So what is Google AdSense?
Google AdSense is a simple way for you to display relevant ads on your site. These ads are paid for by other website owners who have products related to your site. When your visitors click on these ads you get paid what the advertiser was willing to pay for each click.
You can also get paid for impressions if a CPM ad ends up on your site. CPM stands for ‘Cost Per 1000 Impression.’ Again you get paid whatever the advertiser was willing to pay per 1000 impressions.An impression is simply when the ad is displayed when someone views your site.Sounds pretty easy but the hard part is getting traffic to your sites. If you don’t have traffic, you can’t make money.One of the downfalls of Google is that they have a $100 payment threshold. This means you don’t get paid till you have made $100. Once you have made $10.00 you’re allowed to enter your tax and payment information.Make sure you read and follow the rules which Google provides you with. So How Do I Set It Up?
Simply register for an account at https://www.google.com/adsense. It’s free to join and easy to set up.
If you have multiple blogs or websites which you would like to put AdSense on, then you should set up some channels. You can do that under the ‘Advanced Reports’ section by clicking on the ‘Manage Channels’ link.
You can either set up a custom channel, or just a URL channel. A custom channel will allow you to track which ads are working and which ones aren’t.
The URL channel tracks which websites, or pages within your websites are bringing you the most money.

These sections are located on the same page as where you would set up your Channels, and they will guide you step by step on how to set these Channels up and what they can do for you.

Now there are many different programs which Google has to offer. There is AdSense for Content, which is the most widely used.
Then there is AdSense for Search, which allows the users to either search your site, a group of sites which you specify, or the entire web, whichever option you set it up as. When people search the web from one of these search boxes on your sites they will come across ads related to their search and if they click on one of these ads, you get paid. Nice eh? AdSense for Feeds. This is a new program which has just come out recently. It works in the same manner as AdSense for content. The ads are relevant to your content and you can get paid by click or impression. AdSense for Video lets you add ads to your You Tube videos. AdSense for Mobile is another great way to earn money with targeted ads if you have a mobile site.
