The Easy Map

Do you want to be one of those internet millionaires? Yeah, me too. I bet you also want everything to be ‘fully automated’ too, don’t you? Likewise. Did you find anything yet that really is fully automated…for FREE…and requiring no work on your part? Yeah, me either. Every time I have written something along those lines, though, I have received an avalanche of offers from people proclaiming to have just such a program. None of those programs is truly automated, unless you are willing to pay a hefty up-front fee and at least $40 a month to maintain it. See above, where I said ‘free’.

So what are we to do, my friend? Obviously some work—or money--is going to be required to solve this conundrum. Having pondered this for the last few years, I have determined that affiliate marketing is the secret, at least for me. If you don’t know what that is, the easy explanation goes like this: a vendor has a product that you want to sell. When you sell it, you get a commission, paid by the vendor. Sounds like retail business, right? Well that’s because it IS retail…retail on steroids, as they say. That’s because if you take a digital product, such as an eBook, an eProgram, MP3, or anything else that can be digitally stored and downloaded, it’s about as automated as you can get. Once the product is produced and uploaded to a server and linked for a download, there is nothing further for the vendor or seller to do, other than collect the money, which can be done by companies like ClickBank or PayPal. Both vendor and seller have accounts to either one or both of those, where payments are settled and distributed. It’s free to signup, so even if you don’t use them, it costs you nothing. PayPal and other pay services do collect a percentage of the sale for their service, and vendors pay fees to ClickBank.

Go here for Clickbank: www.ClickBank.com to get full explanations of how that works. Some other places you might get some help from are Wikipedia.com, PayPal.com, SelfBankMobile.com

Your job isn’t done there however; you still need to promote whatever you are selling. That requires something called ‘driving traffic’ to your website, landing page, or blog offering. There are several ways to generate traffic; writing articles is one of them. By including a link back to the website you are promoting in the article or resource box, interested people can find you and your products. To get your website higher up in the rankings, there are things like SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and web services that push your information out onto the web. There are also internet advertising solutions like LocalAdLink (link below) that combine a really cool directory search page and internet advertising in a hybrid, new-tech kind of way.

The next step is to monetize your website, webpages or blog, which includes adding things like Google AdSense/AdWords and affiliate offerings. If this has got your head spinning, let me comfort you. I have created a couple of websites to help those who are frustrated and don’t know where to start. The information is free when you sign up for my newsletters, which include tips and alerts to interesting affiliate offers. Click here for the easy explanations I’m no internet guru, I’m just like you, and after a few years of searching (the equivalent of trying to pull teeth out of hens) have discovered some simple ways to get started. The secret is to start something, and keep plugging away at it until it works. As you do, you will be building your list, generating traffic, gaining knowledge about further steps in the direction you’ve chosen, and making some money. It’s not brain surgery.
