I've done much research lately, trying to dig out of a financial hole brought on by not receiving child support for many years. I didn't quit a prestigeous carreer to dedicate my time to "the best online opportunity". I just needed to make more money while still employed full time at a middle class job. Hoping to one day quit work, pay off my debt, save for the future and work my business from home.

Warning! If a sales letter (the advertisement you read that tells you how much money someone is making on their program) gives a testimony from someone who left their corporate, high paying job to start the program they probably had money saved for expensive advertising and recruiting. I didn't.

Warning! If a company charges shipping for a FREE info packet to tell about their business, they are afraid to tell you up front what they sell. You may be responsible for sending back to packet after review(at your expence) or you will incurr additional charges. Additionally, the packet doesn't give much more info that what was offered online. The true info comes from the FREE call you receive to sell you on the program that will cost you a large sum of money. I did it. I ordered the info. I wasn't worth it!

Warning! If a company only sells "back office tools". You are selling the idea of selling the company. The tools you receive promote their company through emails (you need your own leads), banners and in some cases in house advertising which can be used for another business. However, how effective would that advertising be? They joined the program to do the same thing as you. I tried it for a month. I wasn't worth it!

Warning! Take into account the start up cost for new recruits. If you could barely pay it, how likely will they be able to? How long can you go without sign ups?

The best way I have found is ebooks and affiliate programs. I listed the best ones I found, on my site. You can also request a free newsletter to keep up to date.
