Making the Perfect Peanut and Jelly Sandwich

Creating a tasty Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich
To create the perfect Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich you will need your favorite type of bread, peanut butter and of course jelly. I prefer white bread, plain peanut butter and grape jelly. Place a heaping spoonful of peanut butter and jelly in a small bowl and mix together. This combines the lovely flavor of both ingredients and also makes for a smoother spread. After mixing spread the mixture on top of a slice of bread and create the sandwich. Then place the sandwich in the fridge for a few minutes to chill. This really makes the sandwich, I am not sure why but it always tastes better chilled.
You can also mix your peanut butter and jelly ahead of time and place it in the fridge to cool and it will be ready to spread on the sandwich. Just be sure it is not in for too long or it may harden.
This really takes a timeless classic to the next level and tastes yummy!!!!!

You like it chilled and, I like it grilled. Put a little butter on the outside of both sides and drop it on the skillet until it is golden. Flip it over and do the same. Kids love them hot with a glass of ice cold milk. Try it sometime. Thanks for sharing! C.S.
It has been years since my last peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich... I read the tittle here and my mouth started watering... by the end of the hub I am desperate for one of those!

One of the most important things about a peanut butter sandwich is the type of peanut butter. My favorite is Peanut Butter and Co. they have all kinds of great flavors. I actually like variety so sometimes I have it with honey, Jam or Fluff. Unfortunately it is only sold in a few places and online. So at my local grocery store I usually get the Teddie brand which is pretty good too.
