The famous quote says: a man has to decide whether to love a woman or o understand her. Man and woman are different species and as the author of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" suggest that you deal with the opposite sex as if they came from a different planet!

So, yes the difference is major, the difference exists. But the good news is that you can understand the difference, you can understand why do they (the opposite sex) act like this and learn how to deal with that.

Don't forget that the difference is the major cause of love! You have to love some one from the OPPOSITE sex (if you are straight!). Let's try to spot some points of difference but remember : these info doesn't apply to ALL women or ALL men, but it applies to a large number of them, yet you have to deal with each person as a sepaate entity. So take from these info what suits you and the person you are dealing with as some persons are just different than the most.

1-Women care about the little details :

While men concentrate on the big picture only (most of them) and forget about small details. These details are very important to a woman so if a man couldn't remember te small details that they care about they think he doesn't care, while he thinks that they care about tiny unimportant things!

So ladies, don't expect your husband to remember what was the color of the curtains at your friends house! Or if he didn't notice a small change in your dress or your hair, most men are just not used to notice these details and that doesn't mean he has stopped loving you!

2- Stress :

A man handles stress in a different manner than a women does. Usually when a man faces a trouble, he will need some space and some time alone to think and react. He don't like to be disturbed and will be a little introverted and gets into his own "shell".

On the other hand a woman would try to releif the stress by different ways, she will need someone to talk to and will get angry, scream and do strange things. She needs to do this so that she doesn't explode!

When they both face a problem a woman will need to talk to someone while the man will need some time alone and wouldn't like to hear alot of talking, that causes the problem.

Always listen to the woman and let her express her feelings, and everything will be back to normal.

3- Women talk more than men :

Again, not all women but most women talk for different reasons than men. Men usually talk when there's something to talk about and/or when necessary. Woman just talk even if there's nothing to talk about.

She doesn't need a reason to talk to or call anyone, women just call each other and talk for hours just because she wants to talk and it's her way to show love/care. Women get pissed off when men don't talk so much, that's because each of them talks for different reasons.

4- Women are complicated !:

They don't just say what they want or what they need. Specially if what she needs is more care and warmth. Don't take her words literally, try to read between the lines.

And for women, don't expect us to understand the hidden messages everytime, men are not used to this.

Men say what they feel and what they want dierctly but women don't talk directly when they need more attention and love in the relationship.
