Man vs Wild
42Man vs Wild
Man vs Wild is a relatively new show being broadcasted on the Discovery Channel Friday nights. This new hit series stars England native Bear Grylls, former Special Forces turned Extreme Mountaineer. The show follows Bear Gryllsas he is thrown into a new remote location each week with nothing but the shirt on his back. The objective is to show how he faces and survives the wild, whether it is in the middle of a jungle or stranded in the unforgiving mohabe desert.
It is actually quite amazing what Bear faces and survives. Whether he is catching a fish with a homemade spear and taking a bite out of the raw fish to stay alive. Or if he is urinating on his t-shirt to keep cool under the desert-sun, he definetly does what is needed to survive. I think America is waiting to see what Bear Grylls will do next on Man vs Wild.

I think Bear is excellent. He is down to earth, not scared of getting dirty or hurt in his pursuit of showing people how you can survive in the wild. He also isn't destructive of the surrounds that he finds himself in. He is very respectful to the flora and fauna, and uses only what he needs. He is a great teacher and I look forward to watching him every week.
