Restorative mana potions in DDO
72Spell points are a cleric's best friend in Dungeons & Dragons online, and restoring them isn't easy. They're usually carefully watched by both wizards and healers until the next rest shrine. Several types of items exist in the DDO world that allow you to restore points.
Mnemonic potions
These are generally the easiest way to restore mana in DDO, and you can stockpile them. They come in several levels, each with their own effect on your spell points. There are no static drop locations for any... you'll have to find them inside a chest, or as a quest reward. The DDO auction house also carries many mnemonic potions, but, your platinum pieces will often be going to a gold farmer. These are the same folks who spam tells your way trying to get you to buy from their website. I'd rather keep my platinum!
Later in the game, you'll find these quite often as a quest reward. Major mnemonic potions aren't worth much in dungeons and dragons because of it. But, they're always a great choice when nothing else stands out. Any favored soul, wizard, cleric or even sorcerer you're with will happily thank you too if they run out of spell points during a quest in DDO Eberron Unlimited.
Mana restoring items
There are a few items (SP clickies) that restore a little bit of your spell points when you use them too. The most popular of them is the Ring of Spell Storing, a rare mummy general drop in the desert called Demon Sands. One of the Korthos Island quests also gives an amulet clicky that restores mana when it's used. You can't rely on these DDO items though. They only work once per rest!
