Managers play a crucial role of handling a team of people responsible in handling the company's business. They are given the task of motivating his team to work along the vision of the company towards the achievement of its goals. Hence, it is important that managers should work as efficient as possible in bringing out the skills of each of his team members and optimize the capacity of his team in increasing the company's business.

The following are some useful information that may help managers in efficiently handling thier tasks:

  1. Spend about 15 minutes at the start of the day planning your tasks; and another 15 minutes after your work reviewing your accomplishment for that day.
  2. Always have a positive mind set
  3. Always keep your promise.
  4. Always wear the proper dress or uniform
  5. Never be late in any meeting
  6. Always improve your communication skills
  7. You should know every detail of your policies more than your subordinates
  8. Always answer any call or text
  9. Never scold or shout at any team member in front of other people. Should you need to scold someone, do it privately.
  10. Be humble during success, and gracious during failures
  11. Manage your time properly
  12. Put into action all the things you have learned during training or discussed in meeting; right on the first day back to work
  13. Be open-minded
  14. Be transparent
  15. Always work with integrity
  16. Treat both regular and casual/temporary employees equally
  17. Be freindly and approachable
  18. Become a leader, not a dictator
  19. Work for the best as a team
  20. Treat each team member according to his level of competency
  21. Remember the birthdays of each of your team member and ensure to greet them on thier birthdays. Also inform other team members to greet the celebrant
  22. Face problems as opportunities
  23. Maintain calmness even during extreme pressure
  24. Maintain a harmonius environment in your workplace or among your team members.
  25. Don't be a know-all-manager. Tell the truth if you don't know the answer.
  26. Excercise daily and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
  27. Harrassment and discrimination should not be tolerated in your workplace or among your team members
  28. Do not be complacent
  29. Accept that no one is indespensable
  30. Walk the talk. Do what you speak
  31. Allow some time to calm down and relax after a very stressful event
  32. Always take things to the next level
  33. Be efficient every day
  34. Always be keen on competitors' activities
  35. Respect your competitors
  36. Respect each team member
  37. Always track your performance
  38. Always update your team member of their performance
  39. Praise any small achievements done by your team member
  40. Turn all failures into lessons for the day that should be avoided in the future.

  43. Always ensure excellence in execution in doing tasks and implementing programs or activities
  44. Alway prepare for everything.
