Managers play a crucial role of handling a team of people responsible in handling the company's business. They are given the task of motivating his team to work along the vision of the company towards the achievement of its goals. Hence, it is important that managers should work as efficient as possible in bringing out the skills of each of his team members and optimize the capacity of his team in increasing the company's business.
The following are some useful information that may help managers in efficiently handling thier tasks:
- Spend about 15 minutes at the start of the day planning your tasks; and another 15 minutes after your work reviewing your accomplishment for that day.
- Always have a positive mind set
- Always keep your promise.
- Always wear the proper dress or uniform
- Never be late in any meeting
- Always improve your communication skills
- You should know every detail of your policies more than your subordinates
- Always answer any call or text
- Never scold or shout at any team member in front of other people. Should you need to scold someone, do it privately.

- Put into action all the things you have learned during training or discussed in meeting; right on the first day back to work
- Be open-minded
- Be transparent
- Always work with integrity
- Treat both regular and casual/temporary employees equally
- Be freindly and approachable
- Become a leader, not a dictator
- Work for the best as a team
- Treat each team member according to his level of competency
- Remember the birthdays of each of your team member and ensure to greet them on thier birthdays. Also inform other team members to greet the celebrant
- Face problems as opportunities
- Maintain calmness even during extreme pressure
- Maintain a harmonius environment in your workplace or among your team members.
- Don't be a know-all-manager. Tell the truth if you don't know the answer.
- Excercise daily and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Harrassment and discrimination should not be tolerated in your workplace or among your team members
- Do not be complacent
- Accept that no one is indespensable
- Walk the talk. Do what you speak
- Allow some time to calm down and relax after a very stressful event
- Always take things to the next level
- Be efficient every day
- Always be keen on competitors' activities
- Respect your competitors
- Respect each team member
- Always track your performance
- Always update your team member of their performance
- Praise any small achievements done by your team member
- Turn all failures into lessons for the day that should be avoided in the future.
- Act as a mentor to your team member
- Get out of your comfort zone and strive to look for ways for improvement
- Always ensure excellence in execution in doing tasks and implementing programs or activities
- Alway prepare for everything.

- Take time out for team building activities
- Work smart
- Conduct performance reviews as a way of improving your team's performance; and not to blame someone for their failures.
