If you are struggling to pay off your credit card debts then you should find a way of managing credit card debt. Below is a list of solutions you can use to try and eliminate your credit card debt.

Spend Less then you Earn- This is where most people go wrong with credit.  They overspend.  It’s a simple formula: take your Income – Expenses and see what you have left over.  If you are in the red then you have to lower your expenses below the income.

Get another Job- You should be trying to look for a part time job or something to day on the side.  This could include throwing garage sales or even trying to make money online in you spare time.  Use the money you make from this second job to only pay off your debt.  That means every penny you earn goes into paying off what you owe.

Freeze your Credit Cards- Stop using your credit cards.  The best way to solve a problem is to eliminate the problem.  If you don’t have a credit card to use then you don’t have to worry about credit card debt.  This is a good way of managing credit card debt. Stop the source of the problem.

Create a Repayment Plan- Create a plan that you will follow to eliminate your credit card debt.  Go through your monthly expenses and find thinks that you can cut out in order to increase your net income.

After you can find ways to create extra income, you should put this money towards lowering your debt.  Create a plan that is realistic and can help you obtain your goal of managing your credit card debt.  It is important that you follow your plan and don’t overspend your budget that you create.

Consolidate your Debt- Get a consolidation loan in order to eliminate all the high interest credit cards that you are paying for every month.  This will help put your payments on one single bill with a lower interest rate than the others.  If you have a decent credit rating then you should be able to find a consolidation loan.  Check online for different lenders that are available and see if you can get a competitive interest rate.

Use a credit Counsellor- Go to a credit counsellor and see if they can help you create a plan to reduce your debt.  You should be aware that if they do intervene then it will have an impact on your credit rating.

Once you have gone through the process of managing credit card debt, you can then work to build up your credit rating.  This most important thing to do when trying to get rid of you debt, is to know your options.  Look online and find different programs and options that may be available to you.
