The word Antchrist is often used for rulers and men and systems in the past, and the same could be said for today.
There are certain things that the antichrist is not.
The antichrist is not Lucifer, or the Devil or the Beast. The word Antichrist does not appear in the Book of Revelation, but is often used to describe entities in Revelation. Although Satan does have the influence over the antichrist as he also has influence in all nations and governments, but these will become the Lords soon.
If we look at the scriptures where the word appears, we can form a picture, of what Jesus describes as antichrist, and what Paul identifies as antichrist.
1Jo:2:18: Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1Jo:2:22: Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jo:4:3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2Jo:1:7: For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
These last days before the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we are witnessing many Antichrist controlling bodies.
2Th:2:7: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th:2:8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th:2:9: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th:2:10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th:2:11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th:2:12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Even the Antichrists agenda is to disguise himself from the world so that after a period of brainwashing and mind conditioning, it will be easier for the world to accept a "Man" chosen to fit into the world, as the answer of the worlds problems, which they also designed and manipulated to cause global strife, poverty, economic collapse and so forth.
The age of Aquarius.The manipulation and tactics are many, making use of every facet of the human ability and mind such as ,music, sexuality, psychology, and witchcraft in many forms, which are all accepted by mainstream Christianity.
The mind of the New Age and New World Order have been wallowing in the intrigue and illusion of illuminism of hidden sun worship to such an extent that the idea of satanic perfection is a reality. The illusion and trance with eyes wide shut is mind boggling to behold, and you will notice the finger print when you see, the affection is grounded in the design and framework of love and empathy for fellow human beings, tolerance for all, but never to point at addressing the sin. This is the conditioning of our minds daily and makes it possible for the Antichrist spirit to work, and cause the one-world dictator to rise up.The nations have had their minds prepared ready to accept him, and accept him they will, not realising their submission to Lucifer, as he portrays his light
Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour said,
John 5:43 : I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
The Anti-Christ, from where we know it, is the bible, and the meaning of the word itself, does mean against although , but rather an Imitator, "Greek from the KJV Anti-christ is "Pseudos Kristos" a pseudo Christ, one imitating as if he is the one representing Christ for the people, which in itself is blasphemy. There is only one Lord Jesus Christ the mediator and it will never be the Antichrist. There has been many Antichrists in the past and it is evident that Antichrist is a well organised system, which has a history of killing true believers, and even stole the true believers label of being called Christians, now everyone thinks the Catholic church are the Christians, typical mind conditioning.
Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
The official Latin title of the office of the Pope is VICARIUS FILII DEI.

Great Hub!! I agree with you 100%!! I've done much study on The End Times, and yes....the veil is thinning, and so much of what we're seeing come to pass depicts the the prophesies of The End of This age, or this dispensation.
This New Age, One World Order is a replica of the old Babylon, the worship of many gods, including goddesses!! With movies such as Harry Potter....(sorry Harry Potter fans), but I have to state this fact, everything that author J.K. Rowling writes in her H.Potter novels is based on Wicca. (Wizardry and Witchcraft). I feel for our youth, as they are so easily deceived and swayed by the media unless they continually stay in the Word of God. Galations 1:6-9 is happening right now, the teaching of a New Age Gospel. We are seeing Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 coming to pass. In Matthew 24:24 says;
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive even the elect. We need to always be alert, test the spirit by the spirit, (1 John 4:1), and if it is not a witness of Jesus Christ, do not be deceived. As the Scriptures say; Our faith will be shaken." 2)I know the ancient Babylonian system was passed down through the ages, with its cutting down of trees etc. So there is nothing to boast about.Many think that its Christianity but it is a perverted system calling itself christian. Pagan worship which follows after the piper Satan, which Pagan worship has no obvious revealing history on, and who also started Pagan wicca worship.

first you actually did call me evil in your "answer" to my question. your words were "wicca is evil" which is not so.
nor do we follow satan. satan was never even thought of until later in the generations of things. the god you are most likely refering to is Lucifer who yes, was Diana'a brother whom she created. He was never the god of hell or the underworld. and he was not a piper. he was the light, the sun, as she was the dark and the moon. not all pagan religions follow the criteria you suggest and you calling us all evil is outlandish. to believe in everything the bible says is ludacris to me. when it was mans interpretaion of gods word. not gods word itself.
i never assumed you were catholic, i assumed that you participate in those holiday traditions the same way most christian and most people do. which is funny to me because they are all pagan traditions. and also, there are a lot of histories in the pagan world. you just have to look. there are many many histories on our gods and our traditions none of which are satanic or evil in the least bit. satansim and paganism are two completely different things and to think otherwise is simply naive.

You need to read the bible and you will see for yourself, that Anything that doesnot promote Jesus Christ is God is from Satan the liar and your confession or professing seems to do this. You havent once said what you believe.
Wicca is from the Devil, its his fairy world you are playing in, plain and simple.
I have studied Satanism for over 30 years, Pagan religion, and Wicca no different.

Thanks, I read your other hub about this. May I also add that some where written in the bible(revelations?)it states that those who are reborn again are going to be in the rapture when it takes place. However those left behind are not doomed souls. if you die in the name of God, you will also get into heaven(meaning you don;t take the mark of the beast and choose to die for God). it's an interesting point and I think that it should be considered.

I dont believe in a Rapture, I believe in the one and only Resurrection, and these in the Resurrection are those who died during the tribulation rejecting the 666 and before in history dating back to the last Resurrection, recorded in
M't:27:52: And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Only thing this time, is, the living believers will also be taken, to escape Gods wrath on the Earth like in Noah's flood

It does seem that a lot of prophesy concerning the AntiChrist points to the Pope and the RC church. People seem to worship the Pope already.
I also remeber peter and John going into the temple once when a man (lame on his feet) asked for Alms. They said silver and gold we do not have, but what I have I give to you. This day and time it seems to be the opposite. No power, but only silver and gold.

There is much deception about us. Many are being deceived by false prophets, teachings and doctrine. The spirit of Jezebel continues to seduce many into immorality. It is sad to see but it has really infiltrated God's Church on many levels! Many are unable to discern what is truly of God and many are being mislead.
What is most important is that we who truly know GOD, sincerely implement HIS principles daily in our lives on this side of Heaven. Knowing that we are in a spiritual battle. We must fervently, conscientously and assiduously PRAY! Encourage others to really get to know the Lord as well.
