Yes. I admit it. Many Men.

The X Files- I cherish each and every one of them.

I was single when I was 14, for half a year, and haven't been a day since, here now at 43.

Some may say I am a needy girl, some may say I require a lot of attention. Others may add I am easy and there are those that may firmly trust I am incapable of being alone.

I say yes again, I'll agree. These are all probably true during different growth stages of my life. The reasons taught me to grow, the lessons enabled me to move forward.

I'm not even sure where I am going with this, however it's intention is to celebrate men. If this Hub doesn't celebrate men, than nothing ever will. Besides, I guarantee you now, my mother will never speak to me again. I know but, this girl here, loves all men, well almost all. I mean how can you not, and I am then going to focus on what I love about men in this HubMob Hub.

First you have to understand my exposure to understand my ability to relate to many different walks of life. I am using plural terms her for the sake of copy flow, and that's that.

I was pleased this weeks HubMob topic was about men. I don't think we tell men enough how much they're appreciated. How much they are needed and how many are wanted. Also, for the record all references with respect to my relations with any of my X files will here now andforth be referred to a dating. I do have some Lady-Like Manners. Oh what the hell, mom it's for your sake, I know your reading it -

Mom, these were just dates; dates with boys and men whom were Italian, Portuguese, German, Jewish, American, Canadian, Swedish, British, Persian, Scottish, and Irish. From all walks of life like, Cowboy's, Fireman, Truck Drivers, Paramedics, Race Car Drivers, Architects, Drug Dealers, Musicians, Cops, Doctors, Hockey Players, famous men, Directors, Carpenters, Engineers, Creative Directors, Captains, Pilots,Welders, Mechanics, Actors, Students, Teachers, Models, and Comedians. They came in all different forms, Poor, Wealthy, Big, Medium, Small, Tall, Smart, Not so Smart, Hairy, Brunettes, Blonde's even Redheads, Long Hair, Bald, Gay, Straight, and the Unsure, Strong, handsome, Cute, Rugged, Loose, Angry, Mean, Romantic, Committed, Unfaithful, Insane, Hilarious, Serious, Cool, Quick, Horny, Boring, Kind, Poor, wealthy, Black, White, In-between, and I will admit a few Coyote's and we all know they travel in packs. hmm.

There's lies my truth, an indication of my exposure, so how could I not celebrate men and what they can offer?  I still love each and every one of them, In my own little way.

No, I am still not single, but I will not kiss and tell until things are actually, officially, mutually finished. With exceptions of course to unforeseen make-up "dating", and in that case, all bets are off and we all ...you know ..... and not that this relationship is dissolving anytime soon.

It was those boys to men that showed me many reasons and taught me many lessons.

So, luckily to date, my X files are in good standing order. I grew out of the obsession to scrapbook sentiments. Truthfully, it just became too big of a job.

So HubMob this; I not only celebrate you men, I thank you just the same!

Especially, I must add, how difficult last weeks HubMob topic of Domestic Violence was, as men being the primary target.

There are many more men not hurting women then there are doing so.

We need to remember that and not categorize or bulk all of men from a percentage of one target.

Now I don't know why, but it is a quiet known fact, a woman determines which direction a relationship will take. However, the behaviors and attitudes that stem from the attempt of control is a completely a different story.

My point is these boys that defined me, among other factors, as a female, never deliberately hurt me. Truthfully. Parting ways, yes, of course. Heartbroken, yes. Never purposely sought to cause pain on me and from that created an image early on in life.

An image that men in general are not vindictive or malicious creatures but rather simple and caring souls. This belief holds true to me, even to this day.

This belief I created also made me determined to remain friends with the boys, and eventually men. No head games, no disrespect. I could have dinner tonight with any one of my X's. Respect. Compassion. See but that's not a gift that comes from one person. It takes two.

With me so eager to impress, it was the boys and men that taught me these things by showing me.

My, X files yes, contain many men. Thankfully.

OK, I've made a few

Okay, I've made few mistakes over the years. I suppose that's how we learn what we can and cannot do and what we want.

This took years of many many men to learn which reaction comes from each action. The reactions are obvious to both men and women but here were my actions. The reactions are in part, what shaped me into the woman I am today.

I learned from boys to men, what happens, both good and bad, when I am overprotective, manipulative, controlling, jealous, flirtatious, maternal, fancy, needy, wild, unfaithful, whiny, competitive, pouty, suspicious, a cheater, fake, dramatic, polite, smothering, motherly, childlike friendly, funny, nosey, smart, obsessive, compulsive, neurotic, indecisive, hyper, popular, wanted, needed, friend, lover and lastly a woman.

Combined, these lessons made me the intuitive mate I am today. Many embarrassing moments arriving here, I might add, but in return, gave me instinct and eventually natural intuition, which works just fine for me.

What is it that Men really want?

What do Men really want?

What's really on men's mind when it comes to love and sex?

My belief in what men truly want in a woman, if we're going to be truthful and non-judgmental isn't that complicated. From my years of in-depth research, I conclude, with confidence, the following findings;

  • Men want a trustworthy woman. Someone they can have faith in and will be there for him. Men can never forgive a woman who is unfaithful, so they need to be able to really trust.
  • Men are looking for a love interest. Men DO like to love and DO like being loved in return.
  • Men need a woman who is attractive to them. Not the typical expected attractive, but a woman who takes pride in herself and cares about her own appearance. In turn, men are proud of having a girlfriend that looks good.
  • Men want to make a home and a woman who will be willing to share in that lifestyle.
  • Men want a woman with sociable lifestyle skills. They find this attractive because they can be relied upon to keep the social diary running in a long-term relationship.
  • Men want a woman who is feminine, gentle and kind because it is these deep down qualities that that makes a good woman become a great mother. That in itself is for future offspring.
  • Men want a woman with a good sense of humor. One that can laugh like the boys. Women often come across as too uptight or bothered by the smallest of details. Ultimately men want women that can let go and have some fun (sociably as well also).
  • Men want a woman who is supportive. Not critical of them.
  • Men want a woman who does not get angry and shout. Sure a woman to debate and converse with as communication is key. But so is discussing, not screaming
  • Men want a challenging woman.  Someone who keeps them on their toes.  To keep a man interested he needs to feel challenged, not lazy and compliant in the relationship.
  • Men are generally more reserved about sex than women.  In most men, they know what they like in bed, and stick to it.  The adventurous sexual appetite in most men comes when they are convinced there is one better than their own routine.  Men generally being more conservative in the bedroom, invite his woman for the trials.
  • Men want a woman who will commit to them. Increasingly harder to find these days, men do hold onto this wish.  Regardless of mistrust from possible past experiences a man will still always have that need of commitment.
  • Men do not want to be alone.
These points may raise great debate but I believe them to be true.  Let's sum it up, shall we?
A man is seeking a reliable, sexy, single woman with whom he can have a long-term relationship with.  He wants to have fun, share his life and ultimately settle down.  They do lastly, seek self respect in a woman as they respect them themselves.

Guys, sometimes loving you, just isn't something I should do - but your the right kind of wrong-I think Leann Rimes puts it beautifully here*******************

Men why we love the bad ones

Have the video playing as you read this section-it's just type on the screen it's the song that matters here. ===========>>>>

What is it that draws many of us women to bad boys? Men ask this all the time and the answer really is quite simple. Bottom line, it's sexy. Why?

First, bad boys are interesting, they do interesting things and they do what they want. Having developed their own code of ethics they sway from the norm.

Secondly, bad guys are confident and self assured. They know themselves and don't care what other people think.

Third, bad guys are a challenge. You might be surprised that women could in fact like a challenge more than men. It's as if if something is that big of a challenge, the end result must be worthwhile. The greater the danger of loosing a bad guy, the greater the effort we'll put forth to keep them.

So if we combine these facets, being, power, strength of character, confidence with an interesting personality we have, yes, sexiness.

So, do bad guys always get the girl? Hell ya, and that is why.

In short, men are humans. They have all the same wants, needs, and emotions as women, though they may express them differently. I love that you said no man ever hurt you intentionaly. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I feel that is a very important fact. Quite a nice hub.

Wonderful, wonderful tribute to the "other" sex (if we are the fair sex, what does that make them? Dark? Unfair?).

You obviously have a great attitude about your relationship with men and what they've taught you!

This is just a kick, gf. The photos, the videos, everything! hugs to you, MM

Very well-written hub. I especially related to the part about different reactions that come from various actions. I have been aware, looking at it from the man's point of view, that I react to various actions of my girlfriends throughout my life. Some of which cause me to find fault or to judge (something I am NOT proud of). I struggle to try to just accept various behaviors with women I date. I also have to say that I agree with each and every point you made about what men want. I am definately now your fan.

You Go Girl! Let's help out Justine. Men want to be honorable. Most men try to be honest with a woman they care about. It's not a mans' nature to be devious, that's considered to be beneath a real man. And ladies if you want a bad boy, you have to keep a bad boy. Take the word CHANGE out of your vocabulary.
