1. You can kill monsters for their mesos. Also really weak monsters will drop mesos quicker. (If you are strong). If you kill strong monsters it will get you more mesos but it is better to kill weaker monsters. The monsters that are good for mesos are Slime, Shroom, Blue Snails, Mushrooms, and Red Snails.

2.You can beg for a little amount of mesos from each person and keep doing it over and over again. That could save you most of your time on the game. If each person keeps saying "no" then ask a high level person to give you tons of mesos. They will probably say "yes" but if not, then you might be out of luck.

3. You can do quests for mesos. Quest's are also good for leveling up to. The quest that will get you a lot of mesos is "Johns Flower Basket" quest. This quest is a jump quest that is really hard. But if you complete it, you get tons of mesos and experience to help you level up.

4.You can get mesos in the cash shop too. If you buy the bronze sack of mesos, you will get 1000000 mesos. The silver sack will give you 5000000 mesos.
