Maria Shriver is an award winning journalist and writer, and the First Lady of California. She is married to actor and California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and is a member of the Kennedy family.
His journalistic career began with KYW-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was co-anchored CBS Morning News with Forrest Sawyer from 1985 until 1987, co-anchored Today "NBC News Sunday and weekend editions of NBC Nightly News from 1987 to 1989 and was a contributing anchor on Dateline NBC from 1989 to 2004. In August 2003, Shriver took an unpaid leave from NBC News when her husband became a candidate in the 2003 recall election for governor of California.
n 1977, Tom Brokaw introduced Maria to Austrian bodybuilder and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger at a charity tennis tournament being held at the home of his mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver's. Schwarzenegger married on April 26, 1986 in Hyannis, Massachusetts, at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church. They have four children: Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger (13 December 1989 in Los Angeles, California), Christina Maria Aurelia Schwarzenegger (23 July 1991 Los Angeles, California), Patrick Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger (born on 18 September 1993 Los Angeles, California) and Christopher Sargent Shriver Schwarzenegger (27 September 1997 in Los Angeles, California).
During the term of her husband as governor of California, Shriver was initially hesitant in her role as wife of the Governor. Some speculated that she felt her husband did not attempt to win the governor's seat in the recall election that brought Gray Davis from office. When Arnold announced his candidacy on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, who supported his candidacy. Since Governor Schwarzenegger took office, Mary has continued to support her husband and has taken several key initiatives as first lady of awareness of the contributions of women to the state, working on practical solutions to end cycles of poverty and encouraging all Californians to participate in acts of service to their communities. Like her husband, proposed a series of California ballot initiatives in November 2005, decided to forgo any public support of the proposals of her husband.

On 3 February 2008, Shriver endorses Sen. Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. The approval came at a rally at UCLA with her cousin Caroline Kennedy, Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder and the candidate's wife, Michelle Obama. Governor Schwarzenegger has already endorsed Sen. John McCain for the Republican presidential nomination a few days earlier, on 31 January 2008.
As First Lady, Maria Shriver has taken the helm of the Conference on Women. The Women's Conference (also known as the California Governor and First Lady's Conference on Women) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization and annual forum for women. The first event focused on women began in 1986 as a California government initiative for working professionals and business owners. Since 2004, the Conference of Women has been under the leadership of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and first lady Maria Shriver and success has become an "event".
Maria Shriver, was filmed by paparazzi while he was allegedly violating the law by talking on her cell phone while driving.
If this were not bad enough, they took back in July, which is quite clear in the second photo. It seems that Mary has chosen to violate the neglect cell phone use while driving normally the law, even though her husband Arnold supported the bill and became law last year.

Arnold seems to be not very happy about it because tweeted the following message of TMZ Harvey Levin, "Thank you for bringing my attention to their violations, @ harveylevintmz.'s Going to be swift action."
