Marigold patels can be used to make a tea or infusion to help in the healing of mouth ulcers, colitis and stomach ulcers also, the infusion helps by stimulating the lymphatic system, reduce swelling and cleans the body off toxins.The flowers of Marigold may be used as a Saffron substitute in the coloring of rice dishes, the leaves of Marigold are used in salads.

Alternative treatment for the small skin lesions called verrucae can be treated with these flowers .
