Marina Dunes is the most beautiful place to stay on the Monterey Peninsula. Located on 19 acres of secluded sand dunes, it's the perfect spot to relax. There are very few beach front properties in Monterey that you can walk directly out to the beach from, this is one of them!

Marina Dunes is just 8 miles north of downtown Monterey and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It's close enough to go anywhere you like, but far enough away where you don't have to deal with all the traffic. What more could you ask for?

The rooms have a unique decor, that makes you feel right at home. All 60 rooms, located in 20 bungalows include a gas-burning fireplace, king-sized feather bed, and patio/balcony.

Marina Dunes offers rooms with a view of the ocean (and the perfect spot on the peninsula to catch the sunset), or a view of the majestic sand dunes. Either way you go, you can't go wrong!

You have your option between deluxe and Jr. suites. The deluxe rooms are just a tiny bit smaller than the Jr. suites, and include a king-sized feather bed, gas-burning fireplace, patio or balcony, TV, dual pedestal sinks, and a bath/shower combo.

The Jr. suites offer you a little extra space with a small living room area with a leather love seat and coffee table. This accommodation also offers a bigger bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo and a walk-in shower. The Jr. suite also offers two TVs, one in the living room area, and one near the bed.

Both rooms are beautiful and offer the definition of the term relax and rejuvenate. Rooms range in price from $99-$499 seasonally.

One of the best parts of this property is it's layout. The property is located away from the lobby and cannot be reached there by car. I know what you're thinking...that's so inconvenient to drag all of my stuff. Don't worry, the Marina Dunes offers golf carts for most of the rooms, like your own personal mode of transportation while you are there. If you are strongly opposed to golf carts, they do offer six rooms with parking spots.

The property also features massage services either in your room or in a spa room. The wide variety of services that they offer can help you relax and really enjoy your vacation. Wraps, scrubs, and massages, oh my!

After your massage you might enjoy a dip in the heated pool or the jacuzzi!

There is also a restaurant on the property. AJ Spurs. If you are looking for the biggest bang for your buck, then this is the place. They have hearty portions starting with a great soup. Try a steak, they are delicious!

Speaking of wonderful...the staff is top notch. They are all very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel really welcome.
