This particular drying lotion has been written up by magazines such as Glamour and a host of others. And we all know that a lot of celebs like Heidi Klum, Mishca Barton and Jennifer Aniston use there products especially their drying lotion.

But what does it mean for us girls who don't have an army of make up artists and hair stylists?

It means that I have to be the guinea pig. Just joking... well actually I'm not. All my friends know me as the skin sample whore. Okay maybe that's not such a nice word nor a description to call a friend (they mean it in a nice way), but the truth is I do try out a lot of different products. Skin samples are free after all right?

Anyways not to get off topic, I (and my unwilling test subject sister) tested out Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion for five months. My sister is younger, so she is more prone to acne. My age will remain undisclosed for security reasons (Yes I'm old). Both of us have noticeably clearer skin especially on our problem areas.

**Disclaimer Alert** Yes I know I said my sister and I have clearer skin, but I just want to let everyone know that everyone is different and so are our skin. This Drying Lotion is not a cure for acne. This is an acne treatment product. Now I can't say this enough but sometimes people don't believe it when I say "There is absolutely no cure for acne."

Sometimes I've tried out skin care products that produce results half the time. Not to say that they don't work, it's just that those products don't provide consistent results. Now with Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion I see more results then some.

Because sometimes we get a really nasty zit that's just as stubborn as our boyfriends and don't go away when we ask. But I honestly noticed that this Drying Lotion has a better success rate in decreasing the size of my blemishes or treating it faster.

There is a tingling sensation when I apply it on, though my sister says she doesn't feel a thing. So maybe my skin is more sensitive. Anyway the sensation is not irritating, maybe because of the Calamine lotion.

So overall I'm really happy that I've found this product and it deserve a prominent space inside my much coveted medicine cabinet space.

I'm really happy and satisfied with this Drying Lotion. It cost $17.00 US for a 1oz. bottle. I have to admit though this bottle goes a long way. I shared it with my sister and we didn't even finish the bottle until 5 months later.

You are supposed to dab it on your blemishes so don't slather it all over your face like a cream. A little goes a long way in this case.

One thing that does bug me, and this has nothing to do with their Drying Lotion. There website is slow like a turtle. So just give it some time to load up.
