Mark Wieser & Mike Dillards Black Belt Recruiting: Is Really By Mark Wieser?
71Mark Wieser or Mike Dillard? Will The Real Mr M. Please Stand Up?
Mike Dillard recently re-released Black Belt Recruiting at the end of July 2008. Suddenly the Network Marketing community was tripping over each other to get this new training guide released by this 'MLM Guru'.
For those who don't know, Black Belt Recruiting is essentially a training guide on how to sponsor at least 10 new reps every month. It consists of 6 CDS that have recorded conference calls on them with Mike Dillard discussing with Mark Wieser about everything in recruiting for an MLM, and a small booklet with some extra information.
Basically everyone who's aware of Network Marketing on the Internet is aware of who Mike Dillard is, but only the most informed of MLMers knows who Mark Wieser is and that he was a major contributor to Black Belt Recruiting.
P.s. If you don't know who Mark Wieser is go to Mark Wieser: Who Is He & Should We Trust Him? take a good look and get ahead of the crowd.
Now, even more people are unaware that you could even say that Mark Wieser was the real creator of Black Belt Recruiting and Mike Dillard was just the promoter & mastermind. Why is this?
Black Belt Recruiting: Is The Real Author Mark Wieser?
If you listern to the Black Belt Recruiting CDs you will notice that Mark Wieser is the one who is providing all the content.
Mark Wieser is the one who is talking about the way to sponsor people, the mindset you need, the objections you will come across & how to overcome them, posture, belief, third person credibility, how to maximise your compensation plan, closing a prospect and on and on and on.
In the first CD Mike Dillard even calls the method of prospecting that he's discussing to Mark Wieser about the Wieser Method and then Mark Wieser contiues to explain for a few minutes about it, not Mike Dillard.
Mike Dillard is just the MC or facilitator of the conference call.
He leads the conversation through a set plan & questions and Mark Wieser is the one who provides all the valuable content, the information, the lines and the rest.
If you notice carefully, Mike Dillard is actually using one of the tactics he outlines in his Building On A Budget training book.
Wait, you say? Which one is this?
Building On A Budget: Is Mike Dillard Really Using The Techniques He Promotes?
Mike Dillard must be one of the only MLM Gurus to be using a tactic that he promoted in a previous training guide to create more money for himself.
For those who have Building On A Budget, turn to page 14 and take a read.
Now, guess which tactic Mike is using.
Don't just sit there. This is good practice for further learning and reviewing.
Taken a guess? Good. What do you think?
On page 14, Mike describes two options to promote and position your team, leader or yourself as #1. The second option is to "partner up with a successful upline leader and sell their story".
He gives the example of "An exclusive interview recently caught on tape".
What is Mike Dillard doing in Black Belt Recruiting?
Isn't he basically teaming up with a former Upline and leveraging off of Mark Wieser's experiences by interviewing him and then promoting the resulting recordings?
Now Mark Dillard doesn't exactly use the techniques in Building On A Budget to promote the recording though. Why?
Mike Dillard: The Power Of The List; Is He Set For Life?
Mike Dillard has a whole system that he created for himself. The magnetic sponsoring community and system is something that Mike can and will leverage off for the rest of his life.
He no longer needs to promote anything anymore; We do it for him.
Mike now has a list of at least 100,000 distributors. He's already done the hard yards and can just easily continue to promote to his list.
He's right when he says that just being in a MLM company doesn't mean true freedom. You can build up the residuals and then be terminated by the company.
But if you have your own list you have the power, even if you're in a MLM company or not.
Notice what Mike Dillard did for Black Belt Recruiting:
- He already has a massive list in place
- He sends out emails promoting Black Belt Recruiting
- Which ends with a One-Time-Offer (one-off re-release date, discounts, and timed offers)
- He stimulates Magnetic Sponsoring Affiliate activity by holding a competition in the first 7 days after it's release with money incentives.
Black Belt Recruiting: Is It The Greatest Example Of Leverage By Mike Dillard?
So Mike Dillard is basically leveraging off what is around him, thus creating massive profit with less effort than otherwise required.
He firstly leverages off his upline Mark Wieser's expertise and experience in the Black Belt Recruiting recordings.
He leverages off his list by sending emails and getting direct retail sales.
He leverages off the work of affiliates. Because in the end, everytime they make a sale Mike gets a percentage of the sale amount as pure profit without doing any extra work in promotion.
Leverage is a powerful concept.
