Demonstration of Market Samurai

Niche Internet Marketing

Listen up Internet adventurers. You have a new weapon in the website wars at your disposal. Market Samurai is an ingenius new software program that allows you to unlock the power of niche marketing on the internet with a few mouse clicks rather than days of slogging through search engines. I discovered this thing yesterday when I did day two of the 30 Day Challenge and I must say it opened my eyes.

The program interfaces with powerful tools such as the google external keyword tool to let you target specific markets and niches with laser like speed. You can research keywords for potential start ups or for existing blogs and websites quickly and effectively. In addition you can find out the traffic and search patterns of hundreds of potential keywords in minutes. You can sort the traffic information in a variety of ways to wring all sorts of market research info out of it. It is just fabulous.

Market Samurai takes all the guesswork out of keyword research and you won't waste time with keywords or niche ideas that are going nowhere. Doing things the old fashioned way, if you wanted the same level of in-depth keyword analysis that Market Samurai provides, it would take you days - because Market Samurai gathers data from up-to 20,863 web-pages for every individual keyword you add and does it all in minutes.

The program has just been launched and is still in development. Not all features are yet available, but just the description of them is enough to make an internet entrepreneur's mouth water. The full version is set for launch in September and will sell for $149. But you can order it now for only $69 by taking advantage of a special pre-launch offer that will expire in September.

Want to try it for free? The Market Samurai people have teamed up with Ed Dale and the 30 Day Challenge, which is how I heard about Market Samuri in the first place. Sign up for the 30 Day Challenge and get a 40 day trial version for free. Oh, did I forget to mention that the 30 Day Challenge is absolutely free too? Yup. It is, and well worth the time and effort involved.

For my money, Market Samurai is an amazing tool, even for hubbers like me who aren't selling anything on the web and don't have a zillion blogs to support. Seems to me, anything that will help zero in on traffic producing hub topics and keywords is well worth getting.

A Great Tool for Writers

I'm a writer not a cutting edge internet marketer. Furthermore, I'm a writer who was trained in my craft long before there was an internet so, in a certain sense, I come to content creation from the perspective of an old dog learning new tricks. I must say that Market Samurai is probably even more helpful for me than it is for hungry young internet marketing pups who grew up in this brave new world of technology and understand it better than I do. This is helping to change my basic outlook to include a new skillset in relation to writing.

I do not find keyword research, or SEO or even trying to write evergreen hubs easy. It doesn't come naturally to me--but I am learning and Market Samurai is helping me a lot with the learning process, not just in terms of the keyword and SEO information it gathers, but also in terms of finding existing content on a particular subject. Yes, there is a content module here that gathers content from all over the web related to a particular keyword or phrase and returns it for you to look at. I find it very useful to quickly see what else has been written on a topic I'm interested in before I start. . Browsing articles and blog posts returned by Market Samurai also speeds up my topic research process and is a bit like brainstorming with other writers--it sparks the creative process.

I don't know if I'll make it all the way through all 30 days of the 30DC, but even if I don't, getting to know about and use Market Samuri has in itself, been worth the effort. Here on Hubpages I think my traffic is increasing as I target my keywords and titles more precisely and choose topics more wisely. Who knows, Market Samurai just may up the old adsense account enough to pay for itself in the future.

Market Samurai really is amazing - especially if you have ever tried to do market research the "old fashioned way!" It makes the entire process painless and fast.

Well, okey dokey. I'll give it a whirl. You know, if it was anyone else recommending it my eyes would glaze over and I'd be stuck in uh-huh land, but since its you, Robie, I'll try it. Thanks!

Hi Amy and pg--thanks for stopping by.

Amy, I can tell from your hubs that you alreaady know so much more about keywords and optimization than I do. Glad you like it too. I think it is really cool.

Pam, this is really aimed at internet marketers, but I think it is great for us writer types who don't know beans about niches and keywords too--the basics are simple enough so that even a techno-klutz like me can do it. I know what you mean about eyes glazing over --oh yeah I do.

Robie, I'd spent far too many hours in researching online niche markets in an 'old fashion way'. I haven't even expected such a wonderful software breakthrough as the Market Samurai is! I still cannot believe, what I am watching in this video presentation. That's a real revolution in niche Internet marketing. All this Key Words research integration...These guys are just over the top! They teach you how to create online income streams for free...and later you could subscribe to their full professional activities with income you'd already generated by yourself...(so all stay on the safe side of the financial equation:). I am following Ed Dale, Dan Raine, Robert Somerwille ant their buddies for some time and I have gained enormously, considering web2.0 Internet marketing, social bookmarking, social networking and always staying at the edge of the latest Web2.0 techniques. This hub about Market Samurai - Keyword Research could benefit hundreds of Hubbers more than they could have even imagined in optimizing their virtual properties! Thanks Robie!

Violet Sun--Great to see you-- have fun in Florida. If you have websites up, this can be a really useful tool. Do give it a try.

I've been using the tools from SEOBook.com, which are outright fantastic. Never tried the automagic stuff very often. Also I don't like to use Windoze for real work, other than a bit of writing on my laptop and checking email and so on. Let me know when they make a version that runs as a Firefox plug-in, okay? Or perhaps something for Linux systems? (grin)

Robie2, I'm with Pam on this one...I would have slid right past it if it weren't for you. I just now learned more about niche markets, keyword searches, and traffic from the 27-minute video than I learned from all other resources in the last three months. You sold me. I think Noble Samurai should hire you as their marketing communications director.

Hi Robie: I am too poor in Keyword Research. I joined the 30 Day Challenge program some 10 days back but did not get too serious with it. Did I make mistake? Are the lessons really worthy? After reading this hub, I think I should get serious with the 30 day challenge and see how it can help me overcome Challenges.

Hi Guidebaba. Thanks for droopping by. I'm not good at keyword research either and I too am feeling a little overwhelmed by the 30DC--but since it is free and you can go at your own pace, I think you have little to lose by devoting some time to it. Definitely take advantage of the free trial of Market Samuri that you get when you sign up. I'm finding it really helpful--stretching me a bit-- but helpful:-) I have nto admit that I am taking a kind of cafeteria approach to the Challenge and doing the parts of it that pertain to me only. I may or may not set up a new blog or website--dunno yet....but the videos and lessons are so well done and the people so nice that I am really enjoying it-- and best of all I like the price--FREE is good LOL

What an awesome description of the great product from the 30dc called Market Samurai. I have been experimenting with it and find it to be really helpful in establishing all sorts of SEO information. The 30DC is a wonderful class that helps people at any level of Internet marketing. I am really enjoying Ed Dale and Dan Raines and their clever marketing approaches. Excellent Hub Robie2!! - I've been following these guys advice since last year with the 2007 TDC. Last year they had a tool called Wordtracker Gtrends that did keyword research. It worked very well. This 2008 TDC has been greatly enhanced with Market Samurai . It will produce a greater quantity of effective kewords in a fraction of the time that the Wordtracker Gtrends tool did. Also, those guys are some of the best teachers EVER in the area of Web2.0 and SEO.

Hi hglick--and thanks for your comment. This is my first year with the 30DC and I have to admit I have fallen a bit behind. There are all kinds of new bells and whistles that have been added to Market Samurai recently and I want to add those to this hub when I can-- I am thrilled with it I must say. I agree with you about Ed Dale & Co. These guys are for real and know their stuff. Finding them was like finding a diamond in the dirt what with all the slick hucksters around on the internet.

robie2 - Just go at your own pace. I am a systems analyst and last year it took me 3 months to understand their terminology involving social bookmarking and umbrella phrases. I guess this whole blogging experience was fairly new to me. You get plenty of time to review their youtube videos and website, because most of the material will remain up at their site at least until next year's 30DC.

So far I have enjoyed my little foray into writing at Hubpages. If I am honest with myself I don't expect to earn any money from Adsense but I am getting a kick out of the creative writing side.

But I wouldn't mind siiting back Pina Colada in hand watching the waves roll in as my internet marketing empire works away in the background. Time to start learning how to set that in motion. 30DC here I come.

Cheers

robie2 profile image

robie2  says:

Well, I don't know about the pina colada and the empire, but I do think that it is a real challenge to write for both the googlebot and the human reader simultaneously on subjects that will generate traffic. It's part of the creative challenge IMHO. Thanks for stopping by, Brainstormer, and welcome to hubpages:-)

I am still completing my 30 day challenge. I take care of my dad who requires 24/7 care, so life happens when you are making other plans. But I will finish. It is a great experience. I had decided to slow it down so I can really learn the lessons.

Anyway, Market Samuri is a really good tool and has so many things to offer. I am still not great at keyword research but am learning.

I LOVED the 30 day challenge and especially Market Samurai. I use it constantly on my food storage blog and have found a lot of success with just phrasing things a certain way which helps to drive a lot more search engine traffic. I earned my first dollar from the 30DC and continue to earn between $50-100 each month from affiliates and adsense.

Now nearly all the features are available - just the Adwords module to come - I can't wait!

I hope you did make it to the end of the challenge last year Robi - I did the 30 day challenge for the first time last year too, and made my first internet dollars by Christmas - well better late than never.

Market Samurai and the 30 day challenge have truly changed my life.
