The sales objectives of increased sales, customer satisfaction and customer retention or loyalty can be obtainable through a number of different channels.  E-mail marketing is a channel that is reinventing itself with the advent of social media.  Social media sites such as Twitter and Faebood is taking email to a different level or relevance to online sales. 

Businesses need to continue to use the email marketing strategies to advertise and to market their brank products.  In addition to marketing strategies through email and social media, businesses need to use analytics to easure the customer buying power and customer buying behavior patterns.  By viewing the metrics of what the customers are buying and at what rate, the business can use social media marketing strategy to find out why and how buying patterns can be improved an understood.
