Martine McCutcheon previously Martine Kimberley Sherri Ponting was born on the 14th of May 1976 in Hackney, East London, to the 19 year old Jenny. When Martine as 10 years old Jenny her mum met John McCutcheon and hence her surname.

Jenny now manages her fan club and is her official manager. She schooled at the Italia Conti stage school in London where she performed from a young age and actively participated in many billboard advertisements. Her parents couldn't afford fees for drama classes. However after a convincing appeal by the parents they managed to get a sponsorship for her. She then took lessons as in tap dancing, drama, ballet and jazz.

When at 12 years of age, Martine acted in an American television commercial for the drink "Kool-Aid". Later she was good enough to win a role in the children's programme Bluebirds in 1989. From then onwards she managed to get several other smaller roles in TV serials. When she as 15 she joined a girl band called "Milan" and even toured Britain 1994 with moderate success. Eventually she got her main role in 1995 to play the gorgeously famous Tiffany Raymond (Tiff) that won many hearts. Finally she said goodbye to Eastenders to pursue her singing. Her two famous hits were (Perfect Moment and I've Got You). She played "Love actually" along side Hugh Grant in 2003. She also appeared in several stage series at London's West End. She tried her luck in the USA but unsuccessful.

Currently she is involved in producing her own songs soon to be released shortly along with other film roles.
