Marye Audet on HubPages
71Introduction
After the recent HubLove Contest, I realized that I had over one hundred eighty-four hubs. I can't even find my way around them anymore. Like a cluttered room they had become unusable because of the overwhelming amount of stuff that needed to be sifted through.
I tend to think of my hubs as sort of an online Homesteading Magazine, like Mother Earth News, Backwoods Home,or Hobby Farms...only in an easy to read online format. And of course, free.
So, over the next few days I will index my articles by groups, and then finally, I will create a master index of links. I will post the address of that on my profile page and hopefully those who read my words will find more help, more quickly, and more easily.
Acquiring Your Dream House
If you are still dreaming over your property but haven't gotten it yet, read the articles in this collection to help you find the right property. Hubs about the styles of historic homes, as well as window styles will give you the information to identify the age of the property you are interested in, while articles like How to finance Your Restoration will help you get money for fixing it up.
Acquiring Your Dream House has great information to help you avoid some of the pitfalls the rest of us have trudged through in our quest for the perfect homestead.
Building and Remodeling
Here is a collection of articles on building, remodeling, and restoring your home. Techniques, how-to, and products for your homestead.
Finances
Being in debt can seriously cramp your homestead style. Here are technique for getting out of debt, staying out of debt, and producing an income from various sources.
Learn to think outside of the box, generate income from your crafts, invest, and manage your investments.
Marye Audet: Finance & Money is a list of the hub articles I have created about the unique financial needs of the homesteader.
Gardening
Sustainable, organic gardening is an important part of any homestead, or self sufficiency venture. Raising your own fruits and vegetables is not just a good way to save money but an increasingly important way to protect your health.
Sustainable Gardening Hubs has the links to allt he gardening articles I have written, listed in alphabetical order with a little information about each one with the link. Find what you need quickly and easily.
Raising Livestock
Raising Livestock keeps a homestead in meat, eggs, and dairy products. Check out this hub to find links to articles about everything from heritage breeds of animals to disbudding goat kids.
These articles, hopefully, will keep you up to date on what you need to know to manage your animals efficiently, frugally, and ethically.

Marye,
I have enjoyed many of your hubs. The likening it to a homestead or backwoods magazine is appropriate. As a homeschooler, I have enjoyed many of your insights and hints.
There's 184 of them, I am going to be so busy!
Donna
That was brilliant. Are you going to group them or not being as you have been so busy doing so many
I amstill working on them..right now I am not online much..my back is out! :(
nice way to do this
Thanks for this! I've been sort of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I love the surprise of that, but this is great. Thanks Marye!
