72MasterCard Tribute information
MasterCard Tribute is an easy to get credit card, even for people with poor credit rating. It is issued by First Bank of Delaware and provides all the basic functions of a credit card. This card reports to the credit bureaus and this is very good. It is sometimes referred to as MasterCard Tribute Gold. This is an online application credit card. This is an unsecured card.
Good sides:
- Easy to get, even with poor credit rating
- Account reported to the credit bureau
- All the basic credit card functionality
- Accepted everywhere where MasterCard logo is displayed
- Easy online application credit card
- No minimum finance charges
- 25 days grace period
- Not too high one time application fee
Bad sides:
- No extended credit card functionality
- Annual fee could be lower (but is totally understandable because you can get it with poor credit rating)
- Have to pay in full each month
- Available only in USA
What it offers:
- Flexible interest rate
- Almost instant approval
- Poor credit friendly
- Travel accident insurance

That's a good point. Maybe this is like a second chance and I think those kinds of things are good :)
Well.....I am young and decided to get a tribute card......they told me that they never recieved my payment.....so i gave them my account number to take it out automatically...they then told me to cancel that check...which I did. THey then took the money directly out of my bank and cashed my check 3 weeks after I sent it....after they told me to cancel it. Afterwards they told me it wasnt their problem and i should call and lie to my bank and say i never authorized anyone to take any money out. SO NEVER GET A TRIBUTE CARD!!!!
So sorry for your bad experience, but I must say I heard so much good ones with MasterCard Tribute. Try Orchard Bank MasterCard or Total Visa or some secured card. You will find my pages on all those if you click on my profile picture on the top of this page.
I have bad credit and trying my best to build it bak up, can you please help me?
THANKS
Hi George, take a look at the cards I write about on my Hubs (check all my Hubs) and hopefully you will find one that helps you rebuild your credit. You can also take a look at other people's Hubs and see if there are any on other aspects of rebuilding credit, I might write some Hubs on that too.
Just because you are starving does not mean you must eat out of the trash. In this case, just because you have bad credit does not mean you should become blind to the fact your being burnt.
Read those terms very carefully..all the fees. Heck out of a $300 starting balance you only have $50 left once activated - their fees consume the rest right from the start plus you must pay $20 to activate it. Just to activate this card and be able to use it ..it cost you$270.00 USD and that is before you spend penny one.
But still, if you need a card and can't get it, this is your option. And there are worse options, this one looks actually pretty ok for its class.
I hunted around a lot of cards before I chose this one. The limit starts low but the card is easy to get. Just remember to FIND and read the fine print. I cut up the card but keep it active just I can get a higher rating on my credit report.
My triubte is a total rip off.....I have been with them for well over a year not having one late payment..Not one!! I recieved a cancellation notice from them because I was over my credit limit by 35 dollars, and they cancelled the card. Because of that it will be a HUGE negative on my credit report.......
Azzooooooo
I have been with Tribute for over a year now, and i have had no problems what so ever. If you stay within your credit limit and make your payments on time you will enjoy the benifits,

This will be great news for people with bad credit, but just because this is available they have to be careful and not make their credit rating worse.
