I have homeschooled for about 18 years total so far. I have three children, and my youngest is almost through high school. Math lesson plans were always the most difficult part of homeschooling for me and my children.
I don't enjoy math, but I wanted math to be at least a tolerable subject for my homeschooled kids. Over the years, I have found some math lesson plans that I have enjoyed teaching and my kids have enjoyed learning.
Here is a small sampling of math lesson plans and math games that I have come across over the years. I will add more math lesson plans that I have used as I come across them. Most of these math lesson plans are for basic math skills, but some of these math games and math lessons are also suitable for older students.

Math Lesson Plans Comments
Thanks, Elisabeth. I plan on adding more lesson plans as I find them. It has been awhile since I've taught these subjects for younger kids. I have to hunt down all of my records!
Mine are middle school...and I find that it's the toughest. My daughter is a freshman this year.
Maybe because my own math skills are somewhat....*ahem*....challenged?
Elisabeth, my youngest is about to graduate, so middle school lessons seem so long ago. I will try to find math lessons especially for middle school, then. Any specific math areas that you would like for me to try to find?

This is an excellent hub...some outstanding resources. We struggled with math lesson plans last year with our daughter -- this year we're struggling with our son, although it's a little bit easier the second time around, especially when they're back-to-back.
VERY useful hub. And I plan to use it.
Thanks for publishing it.
