Mayan Prediction 2012

Mayan 2012 Prediction - The End Of The World?

One of the most hotly debated times in prophecy is approaching, and the date and time of its fulfillment are unusually precise. The Mayan calendar predicts that some catastrophe will occur on December 21, 2012, at 11:11 Greenwich Mean Time.

The Mayan calendar, which began in 3114 BC, will end at that time. Couple this prophecy with the overdue projections of Nostradamus, the sun's position in the center of the Milky Way's galactic disk, and the Chinese Four Pillars' prediction that December 21, 2012, will be a day of calamity, and many psychics believe that something dreadful is about to happen. They cite biblical warnings to bolster their case that an unprecedented disaster will occur.

The 2012 Mayan Prophecy should be used only as a guidance and not an argument as the fact proved younger generation of 1980s as Nostradamus end of the world predictions survivors.

There are big dates coming that may happen. Among the potential events are the following: the year 2012, naturally, an alignment of the planets that occurs in 2040, the end of the Muslim calender in 2076, and the conclusion of the Jewish calender in 2240.

Scientists and mystics both believe that there is something special about 2012. Many otherwise unrelated events synchronize in that year. According to the Mayans, the sun will pass through the center of the galaxy, also translated as the place of the dead and a place of transformation. Sunspot activity is expected to be very high at that time. However, many others believe that this is simply one cycle among many and that a new cycle will begin with little fanfare.

Will December 21, 2012 bring fire and brimstone and just another day in the northern winter? We don't know, but the prophecies are unusually precise, which indicates that they saw something specific occurring at that time. I personally hope that nothing much happens, and that I am at home enjoying the morning with my family on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 GMT.

wow- how cool- I was just wondering about this the other day and here is a nice hub about it! Thanks! If something did happen- what would we do? I mean, I don't think we can prepare physically for it. It will be interesting to see what will happen. I am too old to be around when the other dates arrive:)

I would prepare spiritually though- Just a thought :)
