Fitting A Bra For Comfort

You might think that fitting a bra properly is not really important. I beg to differ.

There are three parts to fitting yourself with the proper bra.

  1. The Band:  A new bra should fit well around the band on its loosest setting.  This way, once washed many times and has lost some of its elasticity, you will be able to use the next tighter setting.  Also note, that if the back rides up. the bra is too big and if it leaves red marks, then it is too tight.
  2. The Cups: Should your breasts bulge out at the top. sides or bottom, then you will need a larger cup size.  Should the material in the cup be wrinkly, then the cup is too large. The centre of the bra should also lie flat against your chest. If it doesn't, then your breasts are pushing the cups out and the cups are too small.
  3. The Straps:  If your bra fits the way it should, slipping the straps off your shoulders would not affect how the bra supports your breasts as the cups and band are what really are supporting the breats. Use that as a test.  If the straps slip off on their own, then the straps are too loose. If the breasts are too heavy, wider straps will be needed.

Watch the video below for a clear explanation of how to fit for a bra the proper way.

Use The Charts To Help

You may get confused between the Imperial system and what different countries use to measure their bra sizes.

The USA and the United Kingdom use the Imperial system with a letter which later changes as sizes get larger.

These charts should help.

But Beware Of This Bra Type!

Ever think your bra might be bad for you?

Think again.

There are several potential problems to consider:.

  • A bra that's too tight will cut off lymph drainage and make it hard for your lymphatic system to get rid of the toxins. Here’s a good example. We all know that aluminum in antiperspirants is a source of dangerous toxins. If the lymph drainage is impaired, it will stay put and accumulate the poisons to the point cancer can develop.
  • Bras that are too tight have also been associated with a rise of non cancerous but painful breast cysts and lumps.

So What Is A Woman to do?

Wear the proper bra for you and steer clear of underwire bras.

Why so?

Nearly all underwire bras contain metal underwires which are coated with plastic.

It's the metal that is bad!

What happens is this.

In acupuncture, if a small metal ball is taped over an acupuncture point, you get a longer lasting stimulation for that point. This is known as the Antenna Effect. Health professionals use the AcuAids, which are small magnetic patches to safely stimulate an energy point over a period of time.

But in a bra that could be disastrous!

Below the breasts are 2 important neurolymphatic reflex points. Below the right breast is found the liver and gallbladder energy points and on the left side you will find the stomach point.

These reflexes act as acupuncture points which at first cause an increase in function but later cause sedation of that point and a decrease in function.

Underwire bras will mess up these circuits to our liver, gallbladder and stomach if worn over a long period of time, which most women do.

The constant activation of these energy points can make you sick, slowly and quietly.

That’s not all.

The metal wire turns into an ELF (electromagnetic field) antenna which can cause ELF health risks. These risks are well known for those living close to overhead electrical lines.

Then what should you do?

  1. Forego the underwire bra by using a good sports bras or camisole with a built in bra.

  2. replace the metal underwire with a plastic one that you can purchase at fabric stores or online.

  3. get a properly fitted bra as per the tips you read here.

Staying healthy is a combination of knowledge and application. Doing both could lessen your odds of getting breast cancer.
