The Zhu Zhu Pets aka Go Go Pets are the new kids on the toy market block!! Their advantage over real hamsters and other plush toys on the market is their artificial intelligence!

Real hamsters may cost you less but these cuddly little critters are completely interactive, it's almost as if they have a mind of their own!

The Zhu Zhu Pets artificial intelligence even allows them to know what room of their hamster habitat they are in and they respond accordingly.

For example they make toilet-flushing or teeth brushing sounds when they enter the bathroom and sleeping noises and alarm-clock sounds when they go into their bedroom.It's adorable to me so I'm guessing the kids are going to go ga ga over the Go Go Pets!

I have written two other articles about the Zhu Zhu Pets and I received a query about the characters sold in stores in one of the articles.

Do note that there is no character difference between Zhu Zhu Pets sold in the 3 pack box set now selling for $124.99 and those sold individually for $39.99.Prices for the Zhu Zhu Pets depend on the retailer. There are several offers available on amzon.com to suite evrey budget.For example there are combination offers like two Zhu Zhu Pets or the Zhu Zhu Pets Funhouse Starter Set which comes with the starter Fun House and one hamster included for just .The product is set to launch on 1 September so prices before then wll be more competitive.

MEET THE ZHU ZHU PETS AKA GO GO PETS

Below is a guide to the four Zhu Zhu Pets aka Go Go Pets characters currently available.The Zhu Zhu Pets aka Go Go Pets are made up of 5 different pet hamsters.Each Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster has its own unique personality and whimsical sounds! So far only 4 of them have made an appearance. Mr Squiggles, Chunk,NumNums, and Pipsqueak. The fifth is Patches who does not feature as prominently as the other 4 Zhu Zhu Pets.

MR SQUIGGLES-- The Zhu Zhu Pet Dectective

Mr Squiggles. I just love it !.. Mr!, I take it this little guy is one of the 'older' more experienced of the Zhu Zhu Pets or so he thinks with the Mr title.Think of him as the Pet Detective of the Zhu Zhu Pets. This fun loving guy is always after an adventure. He would function best in the explore mode function and I'm guessing that he does not like to be called cute! just call him Squiggles...Mr Squiggles

CHUNK-- The Laid Back Surfer Zhude! (zhu zhu dude)

Chunk is the laid back surfer dude of the group. Care free and fun and full of affection.Unlike Mr Squiggles Chunk does love to be be cuddled.The perfect Zhu Zhu Pets Accessory for Chunk is the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Surfboard and Sleep Dome Add On. Just put Chuck on and watch him go go!

NUMNUMS--The Hamster Who Loves Food

One of two girls in the Zhu Zhu Pets, the cute, cuddly and like her name suggests Numnums loves food, she can sniff it a mile away so be sure to kep the carrots away. Shes a feminine and fun.She loves flowers in her hair and always has a cute smile. Not to mention that she is full of love- she works best in the Love Mode Function.

PIPSQUEAK-The Petite Powerhouse Zhu Zhu Pet

Unlike her name suggests, Pipsqueak is a feisty petite Zhu Zhu Pet.Don't be fooled by her little appearance, she's like a curious cat! Just like Mr Squiggles she's always up for the next adventure so be sure to make the most of her Explore Mode.

PATCHES--The Flower-Loving Hamster

The fifth Zhu Zhu Pet is Patches , he does not feature as prominently as the other four Zhu Zhu Pets and is included in the ZhuZhu Pets - Funhouse Box Set.CLICK HERE FOR MORE ABOUT PATCHES
