Looking for a place to visit on memorial day weekend?Do you love hip hop,if so then may i suggest you check out miami's hip hop weekend.This is miami's wildest weekend for hip-hop/urban enthusiast.Almost all of the hip hop community comes to miami to check out this grand venue.Packed with wild parties and celebrity hosted events,almost all located on south beach and some of downtown miami.Everyone from P.diddy to young jeezy host events all weekend long and topping off on memorial day itself.This event started several years back as just an urban fashion week.But later culminated into well a known hip hop weekend.

You must also know that the crowds at this event will be in very large numbers.So for your safety and to protect the integrity of miami beach know that there will be a very large police presence.There will be law enforcement from all over miami.So if you choose to come to miami for this hip hop weekend just enjoy it responsibly and you will be just fine.

•Miami beach has a no loud music ordinance,so keep your car radio down to reasonable levels.

•No open containers i.e beer bottles,or liquor bottles, while outside.

•Do not impede traffic,as this is the easiest way to get a ticket

These parties run all weekend long usually starting the thursday before memorial day.P.diddy (aka sean john) has been loyal to throwing his party here for several years now.Everyone know ain't no party like a diddy party.Another hip hop artist loyal to throwing his party during this weekend is rapper jadakiss,every year he host his annual birthday party here.But you must keep in mind that these parties usually have a high price for admission.I remember hearing last year that a ticket to one of p.diddy's parties went  for quite a few dollars..But do not worry there are loads of other venues for you to enjoy at a much more reasonable price.

One major thing to note is that this is a very popular event.With people coming from all over so keep in mind that the traffic will be horrendous.So if you plan to come down by car,know that you will have quite a wait when driving around.So unless you have the patience to wait in that traffic may i suggest you keep the car parked.Find other means of transportation,like a scooter or taxi's as they will know the best ways around the traffic.

Another fun event happening on miami's memorial day weekend is its world famous pool parties.Celebrities in the hip hop community also host these wet-n-wild events.Imagine spring break unleashed...in the summer.The pool parties usually are thrown in the daytime.They won't be hard to find,because they are usually thrown at miami beach's trendiest hotels.These hotels are usually found on collins avenue from lincoln rd to 19th street.The price of admission may vary depending on the hotel.

 During this weekend another fun event is the loads of car and bike shows.Expect to see some of the rarest and most tricked out cars and bikes from all over the country.As the visitors of this event use this time to show off their prized automobiles and bikes.There are usually sponsored by some form of celeb.So hitch up the trailer and bring those rides down.

This weekend is not all fun and parties,there is a small business side to it as well.As you have already found out rappers,producers,music moguls etc. will be in town.So what better place for an aspiring musician to check out.Some events and parties are geared just toward networking.Usually during this weekend it will not be a surprise to see one or two video shoots happening i can almost guarantee their is one every year.Or maybe the whole music seen is not for you.Remember that regular people come from all over to check out this grand event happening in miami.People from many walks of life,you will never know who you will meet or see.
