He came, he saw and he conquered. Though Michael Jackson is dead, he lives in the minds of those who cherish him, love him and adorn him. In the words of his mother, “Michael was a legend. He had to die young because he was an idol”. It was indeed a celebration of his life.
Perhaps the most touching moment came at the very end of the memorial service when Michael's daughter, Paris, expressed her love for her late father. “My dad was a very loving father”.
Michael Jackson’s 11-year-old daughter Paris Michael Katherine made a short but emotional tribute to her father at the memorial service at LA’s Staples Center. Following a speech by her uncle Marlon Jackson, the child stepped forward to the mike, flanked by her aunt Janet and her other uncles.
“I just wanted to say that ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much,” the youngster said as she burst into tears.
Paris’ 12-year-old brother Prince Michael Jr was also onstage at the time but chose not to speak.
Her words were among the final words spoken at the memorial, which saw tributes from Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Lionel Richie, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Berry Gordy and more.
Indeed, MJ was the greatest entertainer that ever lived. He eradicated barriers. His sense of humor was delightful. He was indeed a genius.

I will like to conclude with the following verses from the Holy Bible (Ecclesiastes chapter 3: A Time for Everything).
Ecc 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecc 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
Ecc 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Ecc 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ecc 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
Ecc 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
Ecc 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
Ecc 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
In all that happens to an immortal, God knows better. God’s time is the best.
Adieu MJ.

If only there were more Kanye Wests in the world. No wait - lemme finish. Yes, West proved he was a complete jerk when he jumped onstage and interrupted Taylor Swift's glory moment at the MTV Video Music Awards. It was a moment audiences live to see.
