Men Caught Wearing Lingerie In Public

Lots of men love the idea of being seen in their lingerie. Specifically, they love the idea of being caught in lingerie when they weren't expecting to be caught. Is there anything wrong with this? Well, as with most things in life, yes and no. It largely depends on how and where the catching happens and what the intent of the man concerned was to begin with.

On the one hand, being seen to be wearing lingerie in public helps the idea that men do wear lingerie spread a little. On the other hand, in most areas of common society, people don't want to see the lingerie of men or women on display. There's a fine line between a little bit of lace and creeping out the surrounding area, and I think most sensible men know where that line is.

If you're a man who wears lingerie and you happened to put on a pair of high waisted panties that day and you're bending over to lift a heavy box for a damsel in distress and a little bit of your lace waistband shows, no harm, no foul.

If, on the other hand, you put on a lacy pink bra that morning and teamed it up with a tight white see through t-shirt, then don't make the mistake of thinking the derision you are greeted with is entirely connected to the fact that you're wearing lingerie, its more likely connected to the fact that you're being blatantly sexual in public, which is something people tend to frown upon, unless you're Megan Fox. Yes, its a double standard, but even hot women perceived as being too overly sexual experience negative consequences at times as well.

As with all things, being seen to be wearing lingerie in public has a time and a place. If you are going to be in a mostly adult venue, such as a bar, then the rules can be relaxed a bit. Of course, you run the risk of drunk jocks taking a swing, but no solution is perfect. If you go running about in a public park with your bra hanging out, you can expect negative reactions and consequences.

See, what we all know is that some men accidentally get caught in lingerie, and others get off on being caught in lingerie. If you're in the second camp and you essentially non consensually rope the general public into your torrid little fantasy, then that's not okay. People don't like to be used that way, especially by strangers and that's what you're doing, using other people without their prior knowledge and consent to give yourself a rush.

Show consideration to those around you, and you will receive consideration from them in kind.

Hello i am a man and like to wear lingerie and do not see anything wrong with it. It upsets me when i can not wear it openly what is wrong with women today they wear all mens clothes and cry halt when men wear some of their type.On the other side we have the trouble makers who take it upon themselves to beat us up for doing so what gives them the right to do that.Men should be allowed to wear all womens clothes openly and all the time when that day comes life will be a lot better for all.Men should take the lead just as women did years ago by wearing clothes belonging to men. Now its up to us Men

Tammy I like your thiking but I don't think this will happen any time soon as there are too many neandethals out ther that think if you wear womans clothing of any sort you are automatically gay or need to see a psychiatrist.

All people should be allowed to wear whatever they want. However, there is such a thing as morality and public decency. To elaborate on what Hope is saying is to simply use some sense in your wardrobe. Otherwise, we're gonna have a bunch of guys AND GIRLS running around with their painties and pointed bras on the outside of their clothing like a younger Madonna on stage. Although that was entertaining in that venue, I don't want to see it at the supermarket any more than I want to see teenagers walking around with their pants hanging off their hips and boxers pulled up around their waist. It's just tacky!
