This is a follow up to the wildly popular and fiercely debated 'Why It's A Big Deal When Men Wear Women's Clothes In Public', and a rebuttal to some of the more ignorant comments there which claimed that men shouldn't wear women's clothing not because they don't have the right to, but because they don't look good in it.

The sheer arrogance and indeed, shallowness of these claims aside, this is one of those times where fire can be fought with fire, for the claim that men do not look good in women's clothing is simply false. I'll be focusing on lingerie and heels in this piece, but the same truth applies to all women's clothing. The fact of the matter is, some men actually look better in women's clothing than some women do (which may be the reason for the rude comments, a little of the green eyed monster being afoot.)

Why is this the case? Well, there are a few reasons.

For starters, men who wear women's clothing tend to actually appreciate the clothing, they are consciously and intentionally expressing themselves in what is regarded as being a 'feminine' way. For this reason, their movements are anything but clunky. They move deliberately, gracefully, they embrace the lingerie and the way it makes them feel.

Secondly, some men simply have good bodies for lingerie, especially when it comes to heels and stockings. Have you ever noted the way hosiery models tend to be super slim? That's so the stockings sit nicely on a leg that is slightly curvy, but not rounded in the way most women's legs are. Men are also less likely to have spider web veins and cellulite, two afflictions which plague women on a regular basis. The irony of the situation is that we've already apparently come to appreciate the way stockings look on a male type leg, but apparently some of us just can't handle it when a man actually wears them.

Thirdly, men often look good in lingerie and other forms of women's clothing because they carefully select items of lingerie that make them look good. Men new to wearing women's clothing tend to go a bit mad, buying anything that takes their fancy, but after a while they settle down and start putting some real thought into their purchases. They put outfits together that are at once more pretty and more feminine than most lingerie that women wear, and some even show them off with pride.
