So as everyone does these days I have a cell phone which I have come to realize through being lost, locking myself out of the car, out of the house, flat tires and just seeing what everyone is doing, that I can not live a minute without. So a few weeks ago on a happy night out with friends I lost my damn cell phone. Now I used to be an avid cell phone loser for many years, but this particular phone had managed to stick around for a little over a year - so it had much sentimental value to me. But as most good things it had to come to an end, and as most things that end as well it was bad.

I called the insurance company and they said it would be fifty beans to replace the one I had and was kind of torn on doing this since the phone was an old Motorola Razor and I was so close to getting an upgrade. So then I called Verizon and talked to them even though I was only a month away from getting an upgrade they wouldn't budge on giving it to me early and the pleasant girl on the phone in her rude ass little voice said maybe you could just live without a phone for four weeks. Okay b**ch is nutz live without a cell phone for four weeks I wanted to smack her in the forehead with a dumb cell phone and then choke her with one of those long BS contracts they make you sign your life away on. I mean come on I pay that 100.00 bill every month like clock work and have been a faithful Verizon customer for almost ten years and I can't get an early upgrade - what a way to treat your customers. So what did I do ........... I went and bought a new cell phone like a good beatin Verizon customer would, what a sucker huh?

So what did I get a new LG VENUS and I love it. It has awesome features such as Dual Screens and one is a touch screen, GPS, Voice Command, 2 Mega Pixel Camera (no flash though and what year is this?), Great sound quality, great music device (holds about ten songs and then you need to buy the music card - 40 beans), Sliding keys, and it's very simple to use - I lied it way more than the popular LG Chocolate which is to sensitive to touch for me. And for you ladies it comes in pink as well as black.

So am I happy with my purchase....Yes for sure. Am I glad I lost my cell phone....HELL NO - it had everyones phone number on it. Getting a new phone is like having a new baby - it's there and it's cute but it needs things such as phone numbers, pictures, a few good drips on the ground, a protective case from your future hard drops, stuff like that. before you can claim it as your own. I will give Verizon props for this which I found out about after the fact - there is a application you can download and it's free and you can back up all your phone numbers, pictures, or data on it - they do however charge by the amount of gigs you save but it's not that much and completely worth it.
