Breast Cancer
Breast Cancer is not restricted to women as many may think, although it is alot rarer in men, for every 1500 women diagnosed with breast cancer 16 men are diagnosed with the disease.
Breast cancer nowadays is not a death sentence if caught early enough, and as people are starting to become more aware of their bodies the survival rate is rising slightly every year.
You should see your health-care provider if you experience any of the following:
Finding a breast lump
Finding a lump in your armpit or above your collarbone that does not go away in a week or so
Developing nipple discharge
Noticing new nipple inversion or skin changes over the breast
Redness or swelling in the breast may suggest an infection of the breast.
You should see your health-care provider within the next 24 hours because infection should be treated promptly.
If you have redness, swelling, or severe pain in the breast and are unable to reach your health-care provider, a trip to the nearest emergency department is warranted.
The quicker that breast cancer is discovered the higher the chance of survival.
Although the video shows a woman doing a self breast the same method applies to men.

This is a great hub. Thanks, Jimmy. Men should self-check for testicular cancer as well. The good news I read recently for women is that it's finally starting to drop (because women have stopped taking estrogen for menopause):
