A Subtle Pout Upon Her Cherry Red Lips
As she stares glassy eyed through an amber bottle
the flicker of a candle flame shines through
moments of past loves flash by ... a mindful slideshow of passion on faces
each one intent on one frozen moment
each one in radiance as that moment melts
the faces embraced by her heart with a yearning beyond expression
her glassy eyed stare in the bottle reflection
catches the glint of the candle flames heat
She raises her head slowly and brushes away the tear
that rolled down her delicate cheek and hovered, glistening and
caught just before dropping from the slim jawline so flawlessly tanned
with a slight quiver across her chin as she slowly smiled
to herself, reminessing...no regrets, no fault nor guilty tugs
tender love offered, received and rewarded, tender loves' gift
remains as memoirs relived and relished many years thereafter...
His eyes intense and searching deeply, holding her gaze unrelenting
feeling the heat rising up her neck into her cheeks she steps a step back
the lightness in her head causes her to stumble slightly
he reaches for her hands and strongly steadies her once again, lifts up her
hands to his lips, kisses each one slowly, gently....then allows his tongue to
play across her fingers and between, then takes the tips of her forefinger
into his mouth, playfully nibbles and holds then releases his captive
His eyes leave her eyes for the very first time, to slowly move downward
beyond her raised hands...tracing her neckline following down the crease
between lightly tanned twin mounds, gently heaving with heightened breath
moving under the silky red lacy thing, he always wished she would wear
Here she is standing with no regrets, standing before him with a
trembling almost a shiver, yet the heat coming from her body radiates
around them delicious waves like energized blazes moving forward
then halting abruptly, tinglings and urgings and risings and fallings
Pressing then releasing, taking in and releasing again and again, the
lips that once caressed her gentle small hands now searching the curves
First kissing her neck, upward under her chin, then finding the hot wetness
of her full lips and her mouth, she searching him, as he searches her.
Memories flooded through her mind....
They step backwards as one, toward the warmth of a fireplace burning
his foot finds a large pillow quite near the hearth itself being warmed by the
flames licking the pine logs, his hand finds the small curve in her back
pressing upwards as ever so gently he lays her down onto the warmed
pillow. "Merry Christmas", he whispers, "Merry Christmas", she whispers
softly, her lips gently brushing his ear, then an unspeakable urgency as
they deliciously exchange Christmas gifts.
