New England Patriots lost to the unfancied Miami Dolphins 38-13 breaking their 21 game regular season winning streak. The Tom Brady-less Patriots who had dominated their previous two opponents Kansas and Jets, this season and allowed just 10 goals each allowed the Dolphins to steamroll over them. and it was to the Dolphins that the Patriots had lost last in regular season back in 2006. Meanwhile Miami Dolphins broke a streak of a different kind, winning on the road after 11 losses. The team, which went 1-15 last season, had RB Ronnie Brown getting 5 TDs, the most in a game for Dolphins. Brown, just recovering from an injury, had four rushing TDs and threw another. And the Patriots didnt have Brady to lead the winning comebacks as he is so wont to do leading into the second half! Chad Pennington, who has just moved from the Jets, is lending a strength to the Dolphins offense and led some significant drives that ended in the Brown TDs. Waht was worse for the Patriots other than Brown throwing left - handed, right- handed and tricky Dolphin plays was the stunned home crowd booing.
