For a couple of years now I've been hooked on watching Miami Ink, it follows the tattooing journeys of a group of professional tattooists all working together in one Tattoo shop in Miami and each episode there are some unique and quite wonderful tattoos that get requested and they all are tattooed by the best artists in the business, each tattooist is a personality in their own right and that's a main attraction to watching the show, a group of friends who get on with each other for the most part because they have to to make their tattoo business a success.

Personally I love Kat Von D, even though she didn't stay long at the Miami shop as she branched out in to her own LA Tattoo show with some other tattoo artists, but she does the most realistic faces and the shading is incredible on her tattoos, I'd travel all the way out there to get a tattoo done by her that's for sure!!

Miami ink itself centres around the main owner Ami James and his other tattooing buddies Chris Nunez, Darren Brass, Chris Garver and Yoji the apprentice and it's this interaction between them that keeps the show entertaining aswell as seeing some excellent tattoo designs being tattooed on camera, some of the shows narration is voiced by Ami James sort of like he's reflecting on the events that have been filmed and to also recap on recent tattoos.

There are tattoos of all shapes and sizes and you see that each tattooist really does specialize into one tattoo area, but they can also expand and do any tattoos really, because they are professional tattooists.

I always watch this show, not because I want to be a tattooist, but because I like to draw tattoo designs a lot and this show just inspires me to do so and it keeps it real for those who want to get tattooed.
