Cause of death: ET Syndrome. Read on...

How Michael Jackson Died

According to inside news sources the Los Angeles coroner's office has released the body of Michael Jackson and has finally announced the cause of death: ETS, also known as Extremely Talented Syndrome.

Extremely Talented Syndrome is very rare

While Extremely Talented Syndrome is not very well understood even by America's the most astute researchers, it's widely believed that around on in 75 million Americans are born with the syndrome, making it extremely rare.

Kids with ETS often excel in music and acting

Although Extremely Talented Syndrome can develop with environmental factors it's widely believed to be influenced by genetic factors. From infancy to the childhood and adolescent years, those with ETS most often display that they're extremely gifted, most often in the areas of music and acting.

People with ETS usually have a positive influence on millions of people everywhere

While ETS usually does not cause any serious consequences in early life signs of touble can start to emerge later in life. The first things that experts say to look out for are the person with ETS reaching out and inspiring millions of people all over the world with his or her talent, causing a huge fan base and consequently earning millions of dollars in album sales.

ETS is harmless in the beginning but can lead to big trouble later in life

ETS can seem harmless during the person's early years but as time goes by it can manifest itself into a very serious condition. As time goes by the person with ETS can start to feel extreme pressure from society due to increased expectations to always out do the previous success. In addition to expectations from society, huge pressure brought on my the media can make the person with ETS eventually become self-destructive later in life, often turning to substances to cope with the increased stress.

Scores of famous people have died from ETS

While ETS can go unnoticed for years it can often be fatal as it was for Michael Jackson. In additon to Jackson other notable victims of ETS have been Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and John Belushi; and more recently Chris Farley and Heath Ledger.

What can we learn from Michael Jackson's death?

The people in these famous peoples' entourages must be able to recognize that their star is in trouble and maybe reaching out for help. And, in broader society as private citizens we must all think twice before heavily criticizing and putting unnecessary pressure on our favorite stars as it just might kill them.

Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson.

There's no doubt about his talent and he was a pretty good lookin guy before he did all those tricks with his face. The mystery of emotions carries on, average people experience the same fate, except they don't hit the spotlight.

Hi guys - thanks for your comments.

Tommy - I believe we were WAY to critical of MJ. We didn't really know him. All those years we made jokes without ever pointing out that Mr. Jackson is a human being just like the rest of us and it's wrong to make jokes like that.

Gypsy Willow - Thanks!!!

rb11 - Interesting comment, as always and thanks. You are correct - people of modest income levels also meet the same fate. I have noticed that when people can get anything the want they often have a self-destructive nature.

thank again,Dawei888

Hi David: my heart still hurt because of lost M.J. But think futher, since we lost lots of our favourite stars bacause of critic, maybe is time to ask those critic eyes to put their hands down, don't pressure too much.

David...

Very informative and timely info...

Never heard of this diagnosis called ETS but it does make sense that he was under huge pressure, same as Elvis and Belushi and others.

Another diagnosis most never heard of is NPR, not sure whether it applies to Michael Jackson, but seems our society would be a better place if there were higher awareness. NPR = Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Google it and be amazed, bet you know at least one NPR person, likely more...VERY few ever identified publicly.

hello crosscreations - very interesting comment and thanks. I just read through Narcissistic Personality Disorder on wikipedia. that's something for Jackson's inner-circle people to determine. I saw that NPD is basically having a "God complex". I heard that Jackson had huge larger-than-life paintings of himself at his Neverland Ranch. Anyways, thanks for this useful and informative comment. dawei888

ETS?...hmmm, a good name to give to what society can do to people like MJ. No doubt about it, he is extremely talented.

He actually suffered from vitiligo, a condition characterized by uneven patches of depigmentation of the skin. He had to undergo medical procedure to even up the unevenness of his skin color. That's why his appearance.

May God bless his soul.

Thanks for writing about him!

hi jill, thanks for your comments. i did not know that about Michael Jackson's skin conditon. I'm now watching the news and so many people are saying why couldn't people just treat MJ like a human being without being so overly critical. Bob Dylan said "Don't criticize what you can't understand" and i think that applies heavily to Michael Jackson. thanks, dawei888

Julie-Ann, Hmm...very interesting comment. I think what you wrote makes a lot of sense. Actually, earlier this year when I heard about Michael Jackson's London concerts on the BBC I somehow subconciously thought that either he wouldn't be able to do them or they wouldn't take place. Does this syndrome link to possible drug abuse becuase all of the actors you mentioned suffered from that as well. Or is it a way to say they were so rich and famous and talented it overwhelmed them to the point of using harsh drugs and other neurotic behavior. Just don't sound right to me, I mean when my sister died of drug abuse the SBI stated at the funeral it was an asthma attack. That was because her best friend was an agent, she was well known and a paramedic etc..... No Ashtma, It was PR that I really didn't appreciate I prefer the truth, it may help someone in the future

hello dori - first of all i'm very sorry to hear about your sister. that is very sad. about MJ - one of his nurses today on the news was saying that "he wasn't addicted to drugs but was dependant on certain medications." many people have come out in MJ's defence and said he was not into recreational drug and simply "needed" these medications. the point i attempted to make in my hub above is that people who have all the material wealth the could ever dream of somehow end up becoming self-destructive. it's a phenomenon that repeats itself over and over among highly successful people. thanks again for your comment.

I believe this whole ETS is a stage BS. If there is so rare (therefore unpopular) how come some "scientist", which I believe have been born for this purpose BTW, know so much about this "syndrome"?

I also believe that MJ was a star among pop music, but I am telling you, this syndrome... come on. That can't be proved in a million years.

You know what they say (you know ... the scientists), "it is the dead mans fault"... It's easier that way, cose he ain't gonna talk now.

The truth have finally come out that Michael Jackson died of societal pressure. From the skin color change, plastic surgery and his finances. I would agree that most celebrities like him undergo the same pressure. They dont have change managers, motivators, guides but have abundant rogue advisors who want their money. The worst prison is not been able to be you, the real you, an ordinary you who is not a celebrity, who could walk on the streets to the gym, shop in a neighbourhood store or have fun in the park. Apart from television and cable channels, nothing else is going on outside except your famous television interview.

Lesson learnt from this episode is: lets stop killing our celebrities with unnecessary pressure.

RIP Michael Jackson.
